The Hunchback of Notre Dame II (2002)
You can watch it out of curiosity or forget that *something* exists
To be 100% honest, I watched it mainly because I was curious to see how many of my childhood memories would align with it, because unfortunately when I was younger I watched it first, probably not even knowing the story was a sequel
And I guess also because Clopin exists here, that guy is probably my favorite character and his voice actor did a very good job
Unfortunately my memories have stored this movie with a slightly better line and look, which I am totally surprised about because the movie just looks awful and lacks the atmosphere of the first movie or at least something that captures the spirit of that first movie, this movie committed the crime of brutally murdering the atmosphere and vibe of the prequel.
The main bad guy is horribly boring and has nothing special to offer and lacks any character whatsoever, the villain in the previous film could be scary and had any character whatsoever and that made him interesting and made you fear him and even see him in your nightmares, Sarousch is just a moron who wants the money and can't even be a little bit scary and is horribly narcissistic.
And yes, Frollo was a narcissist too, but in his case it was shown in a really interesting way, not as boring as here.
This movie might not have even been made because it wasn't much use to anyone(I can bet my soul that no one even wanted it), it's a bit like that unexpected and unwanted surprise that no one wanted, I guess if someone wants to see an extremely failed sequel to something from Disney, I'll talk about that thing every time.
Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (2017)
It wasn't the best, but you can watch it as a curiosity and to compare it to other versions.
The songs and the boat scene are probably my favorite moments (like the '71 version, but in that one I also liked the famous scene where Wonka yells at Charlie and Grandpa Joe, overall I like the '71 and 2005 versions of Wonka much better).
The characters look weird and I don't like that in some cases they couldn't try to make the characters look more like the '71 version and some of the expressions on Wonka's face are creepy to say the least.
Tuffy was pretty likable, and I liked that in this version she's the one saying the famous words in the boat scene, and it's a little creepy.
But I don't like the fact that they put that dog from Tom and Jerry in there as an employee, it might as well not be there and it wouldn't make any difference to me.
The whole movie doesn't even have to be watched by those who already know the story (personally, I've read the book and watched the movies from 71 and 2005 and I like them a lot), you can just put it aside or simply forget it exists.
If you want you can watch this as a comparison to the '71 version.
Halloween (1978)
My expectations exceeded the results
This thing that definitely cannot be called scary makes you fall asleep much faster than counting sheep, the movie was terribly boring and I must admit I was very happy when it ended.
It was similar with the characters, probably Loomis was the only character I could stand because he was at least a little overwhelmed.
However, I have to admit that the scene where Laurie * fights * with Michael at the end of the movie was pretty cool.
W lesie dzis nie zasnie nikt (2020)
The most boring slasher in history
The movie was supposed to be good and instead a * slasher * came out which is not scary but boring and when watching it the viewer does not feel fear but is bored. In my case I turned off the movie after 50 minutes because it was so boring that I was close to falling asleep. , great hopes, bad results.
