Yume Nikki (2004)
Life changing
Really made me rethink my path of life. The trippy Aztec art style, amazing music, and easy gameplay make this a hit with me and my 7 year old sister. The ending is really sad however.
The best part is that no context is given so you can interpret what is happening. I myself have made bit of a timeline.
Steven Universe (2013)
A children's show that doubles as a work of art.
Every cell in my body loves this. I have every piece of merch under the sun. I have very little to complain about here. This can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
Tugs (1989)
Every bit of my brain loves this
Bit of a blast to the past. Even as a 14 year old this is one of my favourite tv shows along side Steven Universe and stranger things. The character designs and backgrounds design is amazing, voice acting is 10/10, and music is awesome.
The ending episode is one of the saddest pieces of media I've ever seen, alongside Madotsuki's suicide in Yume Nikki.
Screw Thomas the train, watch tugs.
Bertha (1985)
Absolutely amazing
Where do I start? Humanity failed the moment this was cancelled. Though considered lacklustre by some, my group of friends find this absolutely adorable. My one wish in life is for this to be back on the air.
Thomas and the Magic Railroad (2000)
Unintentional horror movie
Let's get this out of the way people. Diesel 10 is what people in birdbox saw. When I wasn't scared for my life, I was on the cusp of sleep due to utter boredom. Bland as tofu, even for kids movie standards. Thomas is seldom seen, and the plot felt like a delusional railbuff's fever dream. I'll be sure to double check my door out of fear of diesel 10; in fact, he attempted to kill that conductor bloke. Thanks for the paranoia and nightmares.
