Onward is a fantastic film full of D&D type stuff and I loved it

This was a fantastic film and my new favourite pixar movie. I've always enjoyed Pixar movies but I have never loved one until Onward.

There is one thing I disliked about the film but it wasn't a problem and most people will disagree with this or not understand my meaning



MAJOR Spoilers beyond this point! so the spell they used to bring their dad back, They botched the spell the first time only getting his legs, but the second time they got the full spell effect. Mostly I'd think casting the spell fully using up the entire ingredients of the spell would give them more than a minute of time, and I get that the spell lasts till sundown but the spell wasn't fully cast the first time but the second time it was. So wouldn't it last a bit longer than a minute? I'm probably wrong but it still bugs me.

I liked watching it, it had some great moments, and some not-so-great moments.

In general it was an OK movie I enjoyed watching it and i'd Watch it again, but there were some problems and a point were i'll Stop watching next time

The good: I loved Ben's redemption I thought it was a good progression of his character with him talking to an imagined ghost of his father Han (I was VERY surprised to see Harrison Ford in this movie) and imagination-ghost Han telling Ben he had the strength to be redeemed, then him throwing his Saber away, it was amazing I liked D-O and the guy who wiped C3PO's memory, they were pretty funny and cute, and I liked D-O rejecting humanity I liked The force voices helping Rey, and I think I heard Kanan Jarrus from Star Wars Rebels and Ahsoka Tano from the clone wars, which was great I liked Rey pulling a Windu deflecting the Force Lightning with the two lightsabers I liked Rey and Ben's Force bond and when Ben was getting beat up by his knights of Ren and Rey passing him a lightsaber using it, and then Ben just slaughtering his knights

The Bad: I hated the ending with Ben dying, I think the ending would have been nice if Ben and Rey had both lived and went off to try and rebuild the Jedi Order again. Or maybe they both could have died and truly brought balance to the force with there being no Jedi and no Sith left I didn't like that there was no explanation of how Darth Sidious came back to life just this reused quote "The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some would call... Unnatural" that is the whole explanation in the movie Rey taking the skywalker name was a tad weird and contradictory of the message of the first 2 sequel movies, also why was that random old lady at an abandoned home at a random part of tatooine

The small things: There were some things in this movie that were just small and annoying and didn't have a real effect, such as that general something saying "FIRE THE ION CANNONS" And then firing the turbo blasters When Jannah and Finn jumped onto the falcon from the star destroyer then the falcon ran away there's no way they could have stayed standing on the falcon while it flew away

All and all I think it was a good movie but for me it was just Ok, I'd watch it again, but i'll Be stopping the movie/leaving the theatre right before Ben dies

This show was amazing, I just finished it yesterday and I thought it was amazing. My only real criticism is for the final episode, (spoilers of course) almost everyone got their happy ending, except Meredith, Phylis, Creed, Pete, Clark, and Toby.

Meredith: I think Meredith's ending could have been her getting over her alcoholism

Phylis: she kinda got her happy ending when she married Bob, but maybe part of her ending could have been meeting that kid she gave away when she was in High School

Creed: I think it was a good ending for him but not good for him, he'll probably outlive his sentence or escape but it's sad he got arrested

Clark: maybe he could have gotten promoted to Salesman

Toby: oh poor Toby he got the short straw in every situation even his ending. I wish he had gotten his Chad Flenderman novels published then retired from Dunder Mifflin instead of getting fired

No idea what should have happened with Pete

The office was an amazing show there's not much I can say that hasn't been said but I loved it and if you watch it i'll Just say I found the early seasons 2-4or3 hit or miss with being kinda cringy but the show pretty much became better around when Jim and Pam started dating
