The Simpsons: Lisa the Treehugger (2000)
A really cute episode
I for one can love this episode and find it completely lovable and cute. It's the original idea of kids protecting trees from people who want to cut it down. The idea was brought up thousands of times, but I like how this episode portrayed it, and how far Lisa would go to protect this certain tree. I thought this episode was really funny, it had some really good 'Simpsons' moments, it was worth watching. I rated it seven out of ten because I don't think it had the classic originality and quality of the other episodes.
For some reason this particular episode was rated 14+ (TV-14, or whatever you call it in the U.S.), I thought of disagreeing on that, or maybe I'll just have to watch the episode again.
Grindhouse (2007)
Truly classic.
This movie is everything you'd expect from Tarrantino and Rodriguez. If you love these types of movies you're surely going to love this one. The violence is so sick and disgusting, it just adds on to the fun and thrill of the movie.
'Grindhouse' means double-feature. In this case, they are 'Death Proof' (Written by Tarrantino) and 'Planet Terror'(Written by Rodriguez). They both match up equally in my opinion, but it really depends on your tastes and views.
This film is great and one of the must-sees of 2007. In my opinion though.
The Simpsons: Homer the Smithers (1996)
Clever, funny, one of the best of season seven
I really thought this episode was great. The episode focuses mainly on Mr. Burns, and the way he is portrayed in the episode is hilarious as it is brilliant. Personally, I can't think of anything in this episode I did not like. This episode is one of the more softer episodes and it's easier to watch with a younger audience.
In this episode, Smithers takes a small vacation which leaves Homer to do his job. But Smithers comes to quite a shock when he returns as he soon finds a new and more changed Mr. Burns, thanks to Homer.
If you ever get the chance to watch this episode, do so. It remains as one of my personal faves.
