It was so nice to rewatch this in 2022. A simple, yet very well done movie about love, destiny and living our lives to the fullest. Lovely to see Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo on a funny romantic comedy.

Can't believe I just spent my time with a anti-Palestinian film that aims to wash Israel's reputation. As if Israel would save anyone in a situation like this, or in any situation. Don't make the same mistake, don't watch.

I don't understand why this series doesn't have more reviews. I lived and worked in Colombia shortly after the Peace Agreement was signed and had never heard of this series until 2020. I binged watched La Niña during the last days of the quarentine and even though it is more appropriate to those of have an interest for Colombia, I will surely recommend it to everyone I know. It's a beautiful portray of how peace and reconciliation can cange lives, even the ones of the most affected by war. It might be that real life stories won't have the same luck Belky did, but this is still a heartwarming story of a girl with a very good heart whose childhood was stolen by armed conflict and who now wants to make up to herself and the society, by helping others. I am sure I will be rewatching the whole series within a few years.

Excellent, funny, interesting and a good portrait of Colombian society. If you understand Spanish or can find the film with subtitles, make sure to watch it!

If La Estrategia del Caracol was bought by Netflix or launched today in 2020, it would surely become as popular as Parasite. Amazing example of good Latin American cinema.
