Harder to watch than Exposed: The Ghost Train Fire
28 April 2023
I am a strict vegan. Although I have not seen this documentary, from what I've heard, it is incredibly difficult and painful to watch. I've seen Exposed: The Ghost Train Fire, and to be honest, while it was very sad and depressing, this goes beyond sad and depressing.

Leaving Neverland is also said to be hard to watch, as it challenges cognitive beliefs (although I consider LN, like many people, to be anti-Michael Jackson propaganda).

This takes the sadness of Exposed: The Ghost Train Fire, and the cognitive dissonance of LN, and multiplies it by 100.

This documentary, IMO, is even more difficult to watch than Exposed: The Ghost Train Fire.

Very cute movie
23 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I love this movie! It's so cute!

I loved this movie as as kid, and it's not hard to see why. It's both very funny, and very cute.

As a kid, I found this film very funny; like the part when the young monster bit Mikey's hand, and also the part when Phlegm fell over (the opening scene), although I also felt sorry for him at the same time.

My Mom loved the part when Mike and Sulley were discussing the odorant; she thought that scene was hilarious, and my Dad always remarks that when something is empty, it's "like the scare floor at lunch time" (referencing the scene when Randall tells Mikey about how at lunch time the scare floor would be empty).

I also love the way Sulley care for Boo, despite the fact that he, along with all monsters, had been conditioned to see humans as toxic.

Overall, I love this film for both its humor and heart.

I never thought I'd feel sorry for an amusement ride, but here I am
22 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
When I saw this documentary for the 1st time, I was speechless. I couldn't even bring myself to watch the rest of it, viewing the 1st part was sufficient. However, from watching the 1st part, what I can say is that I feel sympathy for not only the 7 victims and their families, but also for the Ghost Train itself.

Call it weird, call it insensitive, but I genuinely developed a sense of sympathy for the GT; for all these years, it was blamed for having caused that terrible tragedy, when in reality, it was deliberately lit; it had no more power or influence over the event than any of the people aboard it.

Of course I feel sympathy for the victims and their families as well. I can't even begin to imagine being Ms. Godson, Jason, or any of the other family members/friends of the victims; no parent should have to witness the death of their child, or lose their family in a place where people go to have fun.

I felt terrible for Ms. Godson; she had to witness the loss of both her children, and her husband, while she was saved by getting ice cream instead of riding the GT. In fact, Ms. Godson's tragedy is one of the biggest reasons I lost faith in Christianity. I simply couldn't see why if God loves Ms. Godson why he'd let her entire family die.

Do not watch if you have been assaulted!
23 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I am a sexual abuse survivor, and while I have a very thick skin towards depictions of sexual abuse, this film made me feel physically ill. I had to watch this film for school, so there was no getting out of it.

I was constantly making Terminator references throughout this film in a half hearted attempt to distract myself from the awful memories that were flooding back to me.

The scene when the girls were forced into the car was a painful reminder of being forced to do the acts that I did not want to do.

A very good film, overall, but I highly advise that anyone who has been assaulted to not watch this film.

There is nothing more to say here but this and whatever is needed to reach the character limit
1 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I watched this at my Uni's Halloween party, and I loved it. We laughed our way through it, even when errors came up during the streaming. I ate so many chips and drank way too much coke. I also ate way too much popcorn. It's a hilarious movie, and a great way to end the night. I love British comedy, which made me love it. Below is my favorite quote, and the one that made be roar with laughter.

Ed: Any zombies out there?

Shaun: Don't say that!

Ed: What?

Shaun: That.

Ed: What?

Shaun: That. The Z word. Don't say it.

Ed: Why not?

Shaun: Because it's ridiculous!

Ed: (sighs and rolls his eyes) All right... Are there any out there, though?

Beautifully made. Very nice film.

This movie was my favorite when I was younger. I LOVED birds, and I loved music, so this movie was my thing. To this day, I am still in love with the song "Hot Wings". It's a fun, colorful, film, and great for all the family. The story is very sweet and cute.

Heaven on a stick
2 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Just watched this film. It was like a bullet to my heart, the parts with Eric and DeborahBot 5000 were beautiful. They reprogrammed themselves, going against PAL's purpose to save the Mitchells. This film almost made me cry. In addition, the character PAL could've gone to me, and she wouldn't have had to start a robot uprising. I collect phones, and I wish to keep them till death. PAL was heartbroken because she was thrown away like trash, I would've kept her till she died. I absolutely adored this film, it was, in my opinion, hauntingly beautiful. I adore this film.

Roary the Racing Car (2007–2011)

A very important (and funny) show from my childhood
14 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This show was very important to me when I was younger, and it holds a dear place in my heart. Some of the cars act stereotypically and have stereotypical accents, but that's part of its charm. Some people complain about the lack of plot, but I don't mind. The show is meant to be a sitcom, and the most important part of a sitcom is the comedy. One of the funniest scenes was when all the cars were sleep deprived courtesy of Mr. Carbuerettor The show places an emphasis on karma, or rather, CARma e.g. when Maxi refuses to listen to Big Chris, he gets sand inside his engine, resulting in it blowing up and needing to be completely rebuilt. For the time being, Maxi has to have a tractor engine, much to Roary's amusement. Another reason I like this show is even though it's aimed at young children (2-7), it doesn't rely on toilet humor. Most of the humor comes from the cars crashing, being scared and characters misbehaving.

As for the characters, they are well written and have distinctive personalities; Roary is playful yet sensible and mature, Cici is fun-loving and flirty with the boys, Drifter is very serene, creative and smart and Tin-Top is ditzy, yet he is very tolerant when it comes to crashing. He is also quite a scaredy cat, and has musophobia (fear of mice).

Overall, this show is great for kids due to the emphasis on karma and the entertaining characters. Some ways the show could've been improved would be to have more of the characters be female and have more of an overarching story.
