Velké sedlo (1985– )
10/10
Czechoslovakia series
26 July 2011
Series about water-dam in Czechoslovakia near Ostrava city in early 80'. Main character - Jan Palyza actor Pavel Novy plays as dam watcher at dam called "Velke Sedlo". Series describes all about water-dam, love and friendship between dam staff. Socialistic government wanted show people, how important is to manage dams in socialistic republic :]

Director of this series is Jaroslav Dietl who was famous Czechoslovakia's's director with many popular series like "Nemocnice na kraji mesta" etc.

Series is still popular at least in "Moravskoslezsky kraj", because lots of shoots were taken in Ostrava city and surrounds. Water-dam where filmmaker shot series is real dam "Kruzberk" which is still watersupplies for Ostrava.

Episodes: 1) Útěk 2) Lov 3) Štola 4) Kroužkování 5) Kalná voda 6) Prsteny 7) Ponor 8) Nebezpečí 9) Povodeň

The best series which was ever made in Czechoslovakia
30 November 2007
Hi, this series is the best what have been created in Czechoslovakia/Czech republic... Story, actors, music, atmosphere, humor... the best... There wasn't any better series than Navstevnici. The best actors, nice music (soundtrack). Todays series can't compare with this series. Hi, this series is the best what have been created in Czechoslovakia/Czech republic...
