Five Nights at Freddy's (2023)
Decent, but not scary
For a FNAF movie, this is definitely decent. Acting is good and I feel like the overall concept fit Well. However, I feel there were some bad scenes which were way too slow. There wasn't really ant scary moments, and i didnt really Get any jumpscares. Without going to much in detail, I think the character development was way to bad for a 2 hour movie. If they manager to Get better character development, I would definitely give this movie a 7+ rating. Just some overall mistakes, making it end up as a 5. In short terms = a decent movie, but u wouldn't miss much if u didn't have time to watch it!
Girl in the Basement (2021)
Not for the faint-hearted
This movie is not for the faint-hearted. Sexual, physical and verbal violenxe are all prominent themes in the film. The movie appeals to our feelings and I definitely shed a few tears. Overall a great movie. Definitely an eye opening movie and it is insanely scary that this is based on real life events. My heart was pounding throughout the whole movie.
Minari (2020)
Encouraging and engaging
Minari offers an encouraging and engaging view of the immigrant experience while also recognising the hardships that go alongside. Chung's naunced portrait of Family figuring out their place in the world is both small snd somehow rather grand, after it continues to win over the remaining crowds here, it'll soon be winning you over as Well.
The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020)
Relevant and intense
Strong acting performances that give life to an old story, as relevant in 1968 as it is now in 2020. The movie has High intensity and I wouldn't be suprised if it is awarded any prizes.
Greenland (2020)
The best and worst of human nature is on display
Greenland is a raw, tension-filmes disaster film that showcases both the noble and dark sides of human nature, when everyone knows the end of the world is near.
With spectacular visuals and an emotional narrative that is framed by the harrowing experiences of one family, this movie should definitely be enjoyed on the Big screen
