Ms. Marvel: Generation Why (2022)
Never have I ever - Marvel Edition
Well, this is a disappointment in all the directions. The plot couldn't be less original, the characters more bland and stereotypical and then some. It's like you deflated a good show of all the grit and then rolled it in glitter and mashed up early 2000 Cartoon Network snippets.
It's a showpony in drag, with no tricks.
It could have been so good. But it just isn't.
Queen of the Universe (2021)
Finally a Drag Competition with a different formula!
It's big, loud and fabulous! And that's only Trixie Mattels wig!
This Competition is unlike anything you have seen before. It's a beautiful and well round Cast, the Costumes are bigger and better and overall it's just fun. The pacing is quick and not dragged out (see what I did there?) So no boredom comes up! The twist at the end of the first two episodes and also the elimination was a bit of a harder pill to swallow, but I am invested and intruiged to see how it moves forward.
Get Even (2020)
Predictable murder mystery
If you like teen Dramas with wit, clever dialogue, sharp humour and deep characters.... Go somewhere else.
This teen drama is shallow as a dehydrated lake. It jumps right in, with no introduction as to why the "oh so secret" society was formed, how the girls met and what their bigger purpose is. And into episode 3 you don't even care anymore.
Someone got murdered? Ah yeah, true. Who cares, whatever.
And that's the vibe the whole show gives off.
Don't waste your time with this, there are way better very similar vshows out there worth to watch!
