SAS: Red Notice (2021)
First of all anything starring Ruby Rose can't be horrible.
Ruby Rose is an absolute gem, she's so distinctive which is what great characterization is about. Here's the deal with this film I'll make this quick. π it's a good film that settles in rather well after the first 15 mins. The opening pillage scene is done rather poorly with special effects to put it nicely were amateurish and a few of the aerial shots before you see the motorcycle gave off a strong B movie feel but it doesn't persist. And once the aerial shot of the man on a motorcycle begins the videography starts to get a little sharper then the film opens up and divuges the plot and you begin to see a rather sprawling storyline with massive wealth, government corruption and sinister bloodlines. You know all the stuff we deal with in real life. All jokes aside this film is worth the watch just give it 20 mins. and you'll realize it's potential to be worth it.
WandaVision (2021)
Horrible spin-off. Writers should be fired immediately.
Episodes 1&2 - π π π 3/10
Regardless of where this story leads to begin this series with 2 haphazard episodes showcasing Wanda & Vision trapped in a 60's Television show for 2 episodes is beyond boring π΄ and Utterly Wack for lack of a better word. These episodes should be treated like gold and having throwaway episodes isn't Marvel's standard of excellence, especially when it comes to pilots. Will it get better? Well it can't get any worseπ I suspect the show will tick up from absolutely no action whatsoever in the first 2 episodes but what confidence can you have in writers who roll that garbage out for Disney to sign off on has me absolutely flabbergasted. Watch the first two wasted episodes for 30 min. A piece but don't expect a Mandalorian hit in the making.
His House (2020)
VERY VERY SURPRISINGLY GOOD. A SCARY ENDING FOR THE AGES.

The last scene of this film isn't very long but being someone who's seen it all and a connoisseur of DISTURBING FILMS.. you know 120 days of sodom.. Serbian type Begotten films, I'm no clown. That last scene ranks right up their with my Midsommar favorites the Witch or even Hereditary. The whole storyline, Acting along with videography and effects was superb. Just watch it, Definitely π a hidden π i do recommend this film for all.
Cruel Peter (2019)
Not bad, A family based horror film packed with some creepy moments to entertain.
Definitely a slow burn that picks up about an hour in. A possession horror that has sort of a family vibe especially the acting a lot creepier but along the lines of a lifetime movie. But as I said once "Cruel Peter" settles down and that softness dissipates and it really gets kinda creepy. It's sort of by the numbers though albeit a good storyline but heavily stamped with predictability. The special effects are pretty good, not great but between talking and walking rotting corpses, climbing on walls and demons voicing their dismay it should be enough satisfy the hunger for the average horror fan. I should note though that the film also suffers from some iso camera issues too many scenes were a bit too dark to fully enjoy but the effort is widely acceptable. I would recommend this film for mild horror lovers I'm more of a "Hereditary" "Midsommer" or "The Witch" fan so it didn't pierce my fear meter at all but for my mom or a kid under 15 it might be enough to make them reach for the lights.
Uncut Gems (2019)
A true masterpiece! Forget the funny voice singing and the quirky mild mannered jokes, Here is the role Adam Sandler was born to play.
9/10 π π π π π π π π π = HEAVY WORSHIP
I can't state this enough forget any debbie downers who may not understand a movie of truly epic proportions but that's exactly what you have here in a whirlwind of a tale that could of easily been a true story with a few dramatic embellishments but anchored by actual events.
This fast moving disturbing drama that grabs you and never let's up delivers on all levels. for anyone thinking there's too much going on in this film has missed the point entirely of how much is going on in this film. The cleverly orchestrated chaos that ensues doesn't try to confuse you by doing it through time lapses of the future & past, Nor is it draped in super witty dialogue or banter because it's not. What It does though is dive head first in to the life of a Jewish New York diamond dealer that spans a little over a week and isn't apologetic about each scene twisting and turning your emotions about the choices the lead character makes along his journey for a big win. This film I guarantee undoubtedly will win Adam Sandler an Oscar award and is further proof of how amazing his acting skills truely are when writers and directors have a vision and remain persistent and focused on sticking to the script.
Each scene is crucial to the story adding layers to a cake when looked upon after completion truely reveals it's beauty and perfection. I won't go into any details that's what plots are for but do take the time to watch this film with a running time of 2hrs.15 minutes and enjoy the ride because it's monumental.
