Dil Dhadakne Do (2015)
Loved it!!
Loved the movie. It's not just entertaining and lighthearted but it's also very relatable and deals with family problems and equations.
Schitt$ Creek (2015)
Best freaking comedy show on television!!!
Just finished watching Schitt's Creek for the first time and I don't know what to do with my life anymore 😭❤. This show is brilliant, witty, funny and just freaking awesome!! 😍 Definitely goes in my top 5 all time fav shows🎊😍. Give this Emmy award winning show a watch if you haven't already!! I swear you won't regret it! 🙌❤
Bulbbul (2020)
Horrific story but not your usual horror movie!
Loved the movie. Phoenomenal job by the whole cast especially the lead actress Tripti Dimra playing Bulbul. The story suits the modern era as instead of showing jump scares n gory faces, it actually shows the anguished soul and the pain behind it. It also sheds light on Child marriage, Gender inequality, Patriarchal society & dirty secrets in rich families. Watch it if you're interested in a good story, great acting, and perfect visuals. But if you just wanna see a typical horror movie, this is not the one for you. I'm taking 1 star off coz I was kinda disappointed by the ending. Other than that it's a well made movie.
Special mention to Rahul Bose, Paoli Dam, Parambratha, Avinash Tiwary for the fantastic & a very realistic portrayal of their respective characters. Kudos to writer for writing this brilliant story and last but not least congratulations to Anushka Sharma for bringing another gem under her production.
All in all it's a great one time watch movie.
Dark (2017)
MASTERPIECE!!!
I'm not good with words so I won't bore you with long essays. I'd just say that PLEASE PLEASE WATCH THIS SHOW!!! I promise you won't regret it. It's genius, it's complex, it's mind boggling series. Hats off to writers for writing something this genius. The casting is definitely one of it's plus points!! This is truly a masterpiece! I dunno how will I ever enjoy other shows now that I've watched this intelligent show.
13 Reasons Why (2017)
Hate it because of the new girl Ani
I absolutely loved season 1. It showed the awareness about suicide, assault, bullying & many issues. I loved Hannah's character. She wasn't perfect but I felt sorry for her.
Season 2 was also good. We finally get to see adults handling the case. The group handling the trauma. The difficulties they face to get the justice. I loved how every person on tape came together & stood as group to get justice for Hannah, Jessica & everyone Bryce hurt.
Season 3 is where everything went downhill. The introduction of this new girl Ani was a biggest mistake. She absolutely had nothing to do with the story nor she was connected or even knew about Hannah's story, yet somehow in a matter of few months the group started sharing their deepest darkest secrets with her, when we know the group members don't even share secrets with each other despite knowing each other for a long time. It doesn't make sense! We loved the other group members coz we got to know them in s1-2, they laid a foundation for us & so we connected with them. It was a process. But with Ani, the change was abrupt. We know nothing about this girl & suddenly she's the secret keeper of everyone. She's also the narrator, the center of group. Nope, I'm not on buying that. The group members became supporting characters in their own show!
2nd thing I didn't like about season 3 is the ending. It was ridiculous. The show was about these characters seeking justice & fighting for what is right & now they just killed someone, pinned it on another person & got away with it!! Nope, these are not the people I loved. They ruined the show by making it like Riverdale or Pretty Little Liars.
Paatal Lok (2020)
A must watch series!!
Absolutely fantastic & a must watch series. The characters are very realistic with all their flaws n rawness. The story is unique. Overall you should definitely give this a try!
Extraction (2020)
Loved it!
Enjoyed the movie. It's action packed with killer stunts n best casting.
The Family Man (2019)
One the best show I've seen after a long time
This is Seriously a very well thought plot story. Couple this with extremely talented team of actors, and you get the best show ever. I loved how the story balances between Shri's professional life plus personal life even if sometimes, Shri is not in the picture. I don't wanna spoil it but yes I'd recommend watching The Family Man 100%.
