Man on Fire (2004)
A good movie ruined by its atrocious editing
The story and actors are pretty good and could have made for a riveting experience, but everything is ruined by what I consider the worst editing I have ever seen. It is so over the top and completely out of context that it ruins any emotional scene and makes destroys any suspense there might have been. Whoever edited and approved this should be banned from Hollywood.
Mad Men: In Care Of (2013)
One of the best episodes in the series
We see a very different Don in this episode, one that is reckoning with his past and trying to make up for some of the mistakes he has made. A very good emotional episode overall and a great setup for the final season.
About Time (2013)
The absolute worst.
As a man in my early twenties, RomComs are my guilty pleasure. I like them, I really do. And I've watched really bad ones and still liked them. Whether it was for their relatable characters or their main cast, there's almost always something positive I can "cling" to, even in the bad RomComs. But this one was too much. While the gist of the story would theoretically make for a good movie, gigantic plot holes, illogical use of the main character's time traveling ability and the incredibly dumb (that painfully, cringe inducing kinda dumb, not the cute kinda dumb) behavior of the main character make this unwatchable for me.
I realize I'm not necessarily the target audience but I would recommend staying away from this even if you are.
