TheSecretLifeOfPets2 follows 3 seperate stories which forcefully stitched together near the end. Or maybe 4 stories? 🤷

Let me break these down for you. There's a story where max has to accept new human baby into the household. Then on completely unrelated story, there's a story where Max had a dog life lesson when this whole family takes a vacation to a farm.

Meanwhile there's a story where snowball tries to rescue a tiger from the abusive circus owner. Oh, and there's this story where Gidget has to infiltrate apartment full of cats.

And then just like that, all of this stories sort of merge at the end.

Sure, there were funny sequences. I giggled whenever there was Chloe on screen.

But looking at my kids had lots of good laughs when watching this, i know this was a fun experience for them.

This version of Aladdin basically the same as the original, with just a few little changes. I like how in this version they make the princess stands up more for the equal rights of women. But unfortunately the song "speechless", imo felt terribly forced and misplaced.

I LOVE Smith's genie in its true form, when he is not big and blue. I can see he is doing his best to differentiate his Genie from Robin Williams'. And i know this is unfair to compare since both was/is amazing actors. But sadly his blue form genie easily overshadowed. For me, Williams' genie still irreplaceable, thus made Smith's seems.... flat. And to make it worse, the CGI was so bad that i cringe inside (Lol) whenever he made any facial expression.

Other low down for me is Jafar. I remember as a kid i could shiver just by hearing Jafar's voice. Imagine my disappointment when i saw this bland less menacing version of Jafar. 😣

But all and all, this is not a total disappointment, IF.... If you dont overthink it. Try to shut off your brain and just enjoy the magical carpet ride.

This is probably my most incredibly biased review since i watched it while i was having my PMS. 🙈

Yes, there were several off putting scenes. Yes, its cliche, predictable and formulaic. And there's this gay best friend factor to make it even more cliche. But, i kept forgiving all of its sins.

I smiled, i laughed, and i cried with them. I rarely cry watching movie, but this one made me cried my eyes out. My god, i cried so many times i lost count.

Simple plot with bitter sweet story. If you're a hopeless romantic, this is definitely for you

The original title was Bad Police, but then changed to Jo Pil Ho: The Dawning Rage. I think this is a clever idea. It changes something that sounds generic into something more personal and intriguing.

Jo Pil Ho is a fascinating character. And Lee Sun Kyun did an amazing job portraying it. A dirty cop who is rude and always up to no good.

The writer also did an excellent job in building up Jo Pil Ho character. At first it was so easy to dislike him (which was intended to be) and as the story unfolded you will likely begin to root for him.

Nothing new with the story it self. But what makes this movie pops is you get the sense how realistic it is. It has realistic characters where they all are no saints. And realistic fight scenes where our protagonist were beaten countless times. This made me even more invested in the story.

One of minus point that i have to mention here is the unnecessary backstory of Sewol incident. It was a shame the writer seemed reluctant to dig deeper into this, using this tragic incident only for a decoration.

Plot was simple and cliche. It is basically about revenge, gangster, mafia, and brotherhood. But i have to warn you tho, this movie is obviously not for the faint of heart

At the beginning i had a hard time understanding the characters. Their emotions, what motivates them, what on their mind was, things like that. But then, the first fight scene appeared. It was so mind blowing that i cant care less about the plot

The rest of the movie was all about blood-gut-brain spilling and lots of brutally crazy fast pace fighting. violence through and through. The fight scenes were amazingly choreographed that it made up for the lack of the plot

My first thought after watching this movie was: all of those killings, and troubles, and all of the mess created, just to save ONE random girl?! Buuuuut come to think of it, we do sometimes act without knowingly any reasons behind it. So, why not? Why not save this one random girl as ito's moment of "change of heart"? And because of this, i give this movie a solid 9. Thumbs up for Timo Tjahjanto, Gareth Evans, and all the cast and crew

Good Sam has so many potential. But sadly, this turned out bland and average.

The premise it self is pretty generic. Playing behind the idea of helping other without expecting any return. This could have been better if, for example, the writer was willing to dig deeper in the idea of how the media can shape perception. Imo, this never gets old. Or at least make it more dramatic, maybe?

I admit kate bradley is an interesting character. A daughter of an indian senator who choose to pursue a career in journalism. But sadly this wasn't explored, just stopped there leading to nowhere. Made me thinking why bother using Sircar as this kate bradley character.

Verdict: 5/10. Acting were average, storyline was light, easy, and predictable. Which is good if you're looking for an easy watch to kill some time

This is that kind of movie that makes me realize that i have an anger issue 😌 Watching this made me really, really angry.

Why? Why do i have to waste my time on this?

Why did they have casts that looked too old for high school graduates? And to make it even worse, all of the characters were tragically underdeveloped. I didnt get any sort of attachment, at all.

Why the writer thought of having dry conversations in this movie was a great idea?

And the storyline, my god why? Why it looked like bunch of scenes cut and thrown together in an insulting way? Horrifying flat, no climax.

Verdict: 1/10. Depressing. I didn't get the excitement of being in the summer, let alone the last summer 😣

Bonding surely has intriguing premise. It touches a taboo subject in a light and enjoyable way.

I loved their "dark" comedy! It was fresh and funny 😆. Both story and characters were built nicely too!

I can't really see how they gonna pull off their second season, but still looking forward to it.

Here is the thing with video game movies. They rarely work out. So with this premise in mind, i lowered my expectations. And to be honest, i was also very concerned about the Deadpool factor.

But turned out, this movie deliver! It stayed true to the game version, the animation was great, and amazingly not even a hint of "Wade"!

Story was simple, plot was not too deep, acting was just average. But being a kids movie, i didnt mind these at all. I was a little bit bored when the conversation got heavy though. I imagine it would had been better if there were more pokemon battle scenes. But then again, this is a kids movie. If my kids were entertained, thats good enough for me.

And if you're not a hard fans of pokemon, need no worry. Its enjoyable for everyone. So, go take your little one to watch this!

Verdict: 8.5/10. This is a great family movie.

Don't. Just don't waste your time watching this. It has a lazy script and underdeveloped characters. A very poorly executed comedy movie that was not funny. At all

This is not your usual KDrama. For a crime centered drama, it deliver so many things. It has romance, good suspense, plot twists, deep characters, perfect chemistry, and bittersweet ending.

To be honest, knowing He Is Psychometric has Kpop idols as main leads, i started watching this with very low expectation. Merely hoping for a light and feel good entertainment. Surprisingly, this Kdrama exceeded my expectations.

Jin Young's act was very on point! This is his first main role and he excelled! And Kim Da Som, oh my i love her! I really enjoyed her performance.

This drama kept me on my toe, never dragged and it was wrapped perfectly! Imo, this is rare in Kdrama industry

Minus points for me: 1. Plot inconsistency. Its first half was light. There were romance and a little bit comedy. Then on the second half it suddenly took a sharp turn. It got very very dark and sadly never returned to its light comedic side. The transition was not smooth, thus gave me a weird feeling. 2. Pacing problem. Sometimes it slowed down with useless scenes and conversations. But good thing was, it didn't bore me.

This is one of underrated romcom that i really enjoyed watching.

Loved all the characters, even the supporting role. They were all funny. I laughed so hard till my stomach hurt.

Loved their stories too. Some cheesy moments here and there, but i didn't mind. The love triangle story was cute and the side stories were adorable. Loved how all the stories ended

Jeon so min's portrayal of an island girl was amazing! Her accent and her sense of fashion, i just can not. Lol.

Verdict: 8/10. Story wise, it's a 7. The story was simple, light, and fluffy. Bumped it up to 8 for giving me a good laugh!

Aimed for young adult audience, i can imagine why they like this movie so much. The premise was simple, the storyline was light, the characters were charming, the chemistry was great. What else could you ask for?

Verdict: 7/10. This is easily an innocent and enjoyable movie that can make you smile from start to finish

It's very first line was catchy and got me hooked right away. Then Harrelson turned the conversation to be all about him just seconds after that. Lol. Hilarious! God i love him and love their teacher-student relationship, with their witty conversations

Steinfeld did an amazing job portraying struggling-teen Nadine. Being a teenager is all about being overdramatic and insecure, which usually turn to self loathing on daily basis. These are pretty much what drive sarcastic Nadine to act the way she is in the movie. Sometimes you root for her, but other times you feel like you wanna pull her hair just to make her come to her senses. Lol

What's so good about this movie is: none of the character is completely in the right or wrong side. Felt like they had the right to be mad at the other or vice versa

In the beginning, the action was solid, the jokes were funny. But like other kdrama, at some point it started to drag. Don't really remember, but maybe around episode 10-19. Then the story escalated on ep 20. Then it dragged again on episode 37-40.

Found my self skipped so many scenes. The action scenes became tiring, the jokes became dull and way too comical. This could have been waaay better if the story wasn't poorly executed.

Love Kim Sung Kyun since "Reply 88" and of course big appreciation to Kim Nam Gil for doing all the action sceness without stunt

Im not familiar with korean war. So i cant really comment on that. But aside from that, this movie was fun and engaging. I enjoyed the dance battles and I even held my breath when they were on stage. The chemistry between characters were great. And one more thing, DO is for sure multi talented!

It's light, simple, and different. If you have been through a break up or even better (or worse? 😆) now are going through one, watch this. You'll find this movie very relatable.

The premise was intriguing, the girls performances were great. But imo, their years of friendship was not deeply explored. This is unfortunate, since the movie is emphasizing on their friendship.

Love the relationship between Hammer & Gault. Thumbs up for their great performance

Pace too slow with so many dull moments.

The movie was from the perspective of the people who caught and killed the Bonnie & Clyde. And i know the two criminals gonna end dead. It was no surprise. So watching this, i was actually hoping to see way more actions put into the movie. Disappointed.

Verdict: 7/10 Generous 7 only for Costner-harrelson performance.
