Amazing
8 March 2024
So we're back with the guardians and Peter is still depressed over losing Gamora at the hands of Thanos back in Infinity War and 2014 Gamora has no memory of her future relationship with Peter. But things become worse for the Guardians of the Galaxy, when Rocket is severely injured by Adam Warlock, son of the disgraced high priestess Ayesha.

This was such a fantastic watch, I enjoyed it throughly and it was the second ever marvel film to make me cry, such a beautiful story with so many questions answered that we've all wondered tor years, definitely a must watch, really enjoyed learning more about rocket and where he comes from

I cried at 2 different moments, really didn't expect this reaction to marvel films

Highly recommend.

Best Biographical War Film I've seen!
22 January 2024
Our story starts In 1967 when, John "Chickie" Donohue leaves New York to track down his army buddies in Vietnam and share a few beers with them, but instead is confronted with the horrors of the war.

This is a fantastic movie and from what I've researched an insanely accurate movie based off the true story. Zac Efron nailed this part he was so so good in this movie, I'm no stranger to a Efron performance but even I was blown away.

The set up of the film was perfectly done and executed in such a professional yet entertaining manner. This is by far the best film I've seen in a very long time. It was very cool seeing Russell Crowe after all time as well.

Top film!

8/10 I don't know how it got a 6.

Were Back Blud!
13 January 2024
As a man who appreciates a good laugh and an entertaining film; I enjoyed this. The movie was full of cameos that I didn't expect and hilarious moments. I've always been a fan of the hood movies (Kidulthood, Adulthood, Brotherhood, Anuvahood and now Sumotherhood, absolute classics.

We need more films like this, no seriousness, no over dramatically cancelling people, just straight laughs, I recommend it highly. What I respected about this is how Adam Deacon can use his mental health issues to dive deep into this character as i noticed alot of him being bipolar which is his real life condition, insane and amazing.

A Gritty, Realistic London Experience
15 September 2023
Avengement is a movie unlike any I've seen before, this movie is gritty, dark toned, absolutely amazing. While on prison furlough, a lowly criminal Cain Burgess (Scott Adkins) evades the guards and returns to his old stomping grounds to take revenge on the people who turned him into a cold-blooded killer. This was a random watch and its gotta be the best random watch I picked.

I'll be honest if you want a film that doesn't solely rely on fist fights then this isn't for you, it's got a good story to it but when it comes down to it alot of people will find a way to see a negative within it but I thought it was very well written and the actors all did a fantastic job, I felt thoroughly entertained without a slowing moment.

Highly recommend this one, 10/10.

Paul Rudd Never Disappoints!
18 August 2023
I've been quite excited for this one for quite a while now, the hype was built over such a long period of time, especially for comic book fans. Paul Rudd is back at it again as our favourite witty geek Scott Lang. Only this time Ant-Man and the Wasp find themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that pushes them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible, honestly it's insane!

Enter Kang The Conquerer! The reason the hype has been so immense is this man's appearance that we have longed for for many years. Played by the amazing Jonathan Majors and boy did he deliver an amazing and rememorable performance, he's everything I expected Kang to be, I loved it!

Highly Recommend, definitely one of the stronger titles in the MCU.

What A Watch!
18 August 2023
Black Panther has got to be one of the most compelling and such a risk to alter since the passing of Chadwick Boseman. Although the devastating news we must continue our journey with our new Black Panther, T'Challa on screen sister Shuri (Letitia Wright) who happens to take the mantle and continue the fight that must always be fought.

The film was spectacular, probably in my opinion the best mcu movie of this phase, some great cameos, not too many which is good as sometimes that can ruin the experience of that character but they really did a great job with this one.

The action, everything about this is just insane, I loved every second of it, ignore the critics... this is great!

Great But Intense!
26 July 2023
This was a great film that I throughly enjoyed, it all starts on the night she plans to take her own life, a 17-year-old girl (Lisa McVey) is kidnapped and finds herself fighting to stay alive. She is released, but when she returns home, no one believes her story except for one detective. This movie is a very intense watch but by far one of the most extraordinary true stories I've seen to date. I really enjoyed how much depth the actors went to, to create such a memorable experience that I'll never forget.

I highly recommend this movie, definitely a must watch. I saw a lot of clips about this so had to check it out!

Quite Enjoyable, Give It A 7
26 May 2023
Eddie Murphy has got to be one of my favourites, probably of all time so it was really good to see him with Jonah Hill.

I really enjoyed this film, although it felt very slow in some areas I generally liked it. I did like how they included the diversity elephant in the room, it's always good when you can see the funny side, I thought Eddie handled this part of the description funny, always goading Hill into speaking on Black Culture or teasing him into saying stuff he'll later regret.

In short the movie is about a girl who brings her white boyfriend home to meet her folks, as you can imagine, it went a little intense and crazy

Avatar: The Way Of Water Is A MUST SEE
20 February 2023
Where can I begin with this film I have patiently waiting years to see, well Jake Sully lives with his newfound family formed on the extrasolar moon Pandora. Once a familiar threat returns to finish what was previously started, Jake must work with Neytiri and the army of the Na'vi race to protect their home. The visuals are out of this world, the story? Compelling, the cast? Back better than ever, I thoroughly enjoyed this sequel to avatar, I cannot wait to catch the third.

James Cameron has a way when it comes to writing a compelling story and adding some even more incredible visuals, this is by far the best movie I've seen this year, alot to come that could top it but I don't think so, great film

Highly Recommend!

Ginny & Georgia (2021– )
10/10
I'm Enjoying This One.
18 February 2023
I actually quite enjoyed Ginny & Georgia, it starts off as any other normal small town show and then the development kicks in minute by minute, episode by episode, slowly the truth unfolds in the best way. My favourite character after Marcus, is Ginny. I really like the sas and sarcasm that comes with her and you can really get into the feelings of the character she's playing.

I thought there was a lot of this show that was good at keeping you engaged in the story, for example directors throwing little hints in that you pick up on as the show unravels and I find that spectacular.

This is a fun show that has a great cast all in all I'd recommend this.

"Mr White, Is the Devil" Fantastic!
31 January 2023
As far as television shows go, nothing will ever top the masterpiece that is Breaking Bad. This show excells in so many areas it's crazy, start off with the characters for instance, the acting in this show is phenomenal, I loved every second I spent watching that I even dived into Better Call Saul & El Camino.

The character development is insane, we meet Walter Hartwell White, a chemistry teacher diagnosed with cancer, its so interesting watching a shy push over man turn into a drug kingpin. Bryan Cranston & Aaron Paul absolutely killed it. I have to say though Mike will always be my favourite of all, what a character.

I'd highly recommend this, it's absolutely insane.

Better Call Saul!
31 January 2023
What an adventure that was, better call Saul in my eyes is the best spin off I've seen made. Featuring not only original Breaking Bad characters it introduces some really colorful people bringing the epic to an even more intense feeling like its predecessor.

I loved Better Call Saul, its really interesting diving into the life of Jimmy Mcgill or as we know him Saul Goodman or even Slippin' Jimmy. I enjoyed learning more about Mike and gus it was really interesting seeing how everything started off, honestly such an experience.

Highly recommend Its a great show with just as many twists and turns as breaking bad, hold onto your seats.

The Savage She Hulk... kinda
16 November 2022
Finally... we have been introduced to the savage she hulk, in a way anyway. We dive into the story meeting Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered Hulk and the cousin to The Hulk.

She Hulk was a fun, quirky marvel show that I believe was never intended to be taken seriously, there are some questionable moments in the dialogue but other than that the show is so much fun and I'm glad I checked it out. I mean we got Charlie Cox and Abomination, what's not to love? This show is brilliant and you should check it out, I mean it is MCU after all.

Check it out! Highly recommend.

She's Back!
16 November 2022
She's back! After solving her first "case" now a detective-for-hire, Enola Holmes takes on her first official case to find a missing girl as the sparks of a dangerous conspiracy ignite a mystery that requires the help of friends - and Sherlock himself to unravel. I do happen to really enjoy this take on the Holmes name, although Sherlock never had a sister within the books it's very fascinating to see how he deals with his little sister aka his ward.

Henry Cavill is a great sherlock and I would love to see much more of him, maybe even in his own adventure in his own movie, I enjoyed diving back in with the characters of Enola Holmes, those that returned and those that joined, fantastic! Absolutely amazing. I really enjoy the whole 'breaking the fourth wall, I find it very cool when the audience is spoken with like we're right there in her little adventure, big hats off to Millie Bobby Brown.

I happened to really enjoy this film and it's a great follow up to an even greater classic, I loved this and I'd happily highly recommend.

Lucifer, Yours Truly
29 October 2022
Lucifer was amazing, from start to finish I loved Tom Ellis' portrayal of the devil himself. Everything about this character is entertaining, from the great story to the well timed hilarious jokes that come with it, I hadn't heard of this DC character when I first saw the show but as I watched the character popped up alot more.

I really enjoyed the whole involving other in a way real characters (Adam, eve, God) I thought this aspect of it was very intriguing as literally anything can happen which makes it all the more mysterious, a perfect tactic to keep you glued and waiting on the edge of your seat. All in all I loved lucifer alot and I'd highly recommend watching this, I know people who have got somehow bored but stick with it, you won't regret it.

Enola Holmes (2020)
10/10
I Loved It!
20 October 2022
I'm probably one of the biggest Sherlock Holmes fans in the world, as soon as I learned of Enola Holmes I knew I had to watch. While searching for her missing mother, intrepid teen Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) uses her sleuthing skills to outsmart big brother Sherlock (Henry Cavill) and help a runaway lord (Louis Partridge). Enola has a very strained relationship with her other brother Mycroft (Sam Claflin)who as it seems just wants the best for her, even if that makes her unhappy, this is where the true adventure begins!

I love everything about this franchise, the Holmes name specially, I'm looking very forward to reading the books and intercepting the true mind or Sherlock Holmes, I did like the fact he wasn't present too much as it would steal the thunder from Enola as let's be honest Sherlock is remarkable and so interesting.

All in all I absolutely loved this movie and I cannot wait for the sequel in the coming weeks, impressed with plot, cast and the development of not only characters but plot too, very well at keeping as entertained and intrigued, highly recommend.

Werewolf by Night (2022 TV Movie)

EPIC! What A Watch!
16 October 2022
Decided to check this new Marvel movie out, despite there being zero connection to the MCU. The story follows a lycanthrope superhero who fights evil using the abilities given to him by a curse brought on by his bloodline. I wasn't sure what to expect going into this film as it certainly has a very different feel to your typical Marvel adventure. I've always been fascinated with stories involving Werewolves so this was bound to be an entertaining piece to check out. The only downside to this was the duration, i feel like another 30 minutes would've done it alot more justice.

Never heard of any of the cast which made it all the more exciting, not knowing what to expect is always an entertaining yet intriguing experience, all in all without spoiling the feature film, I've decided I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in werewolves and myths but even if you're not it's pretty great either way.

THIS IS INSANE (YES INSANE)
15 October 2022
A biopic of Jeffrey Dahmer, a man who killed (and sometimes ate) 17 victims over a 13-year period from the 1970s to the 1990s. This is probably by far the most accurate account of events we are ever going to get regarding the life of Jeff Dahmer, The Milwaukee Cannibal. Evan Peters embodied this role in such a unique way, it's not only thrilling but kind of chilling at how well he can truly play a not proven but definitely undeniably, a psycho. The fact Jeffrey Dahmer was never actually insane says alot about the world, who is really insane?

This show was a great reenactment of such tragic events, must watch!

Hilarious Yet Relatable
15 October 2022
Me Time follows the story of a dad who finds time for himself for the first time in years while his wife and kids are away. He reconnects with a friend for a wild weekend, much to his distest he still attends and let's say he does have a WILD time. This movie is very relatable as a dad myself, we do wish we could get more of that me time, what I loved most about this was how relatable it really was.

Kevin Hart & Mark Wahlberg are a great duo who I look forward to seeing in the future again. I found myself in hysterics the entire way through, this is definitely the type of movie I'd recommend to everyone who just wants to kick back and laugh

Highly recommend.

Entertaining, Mysterious & Intriguing!
18 September 2022
Went into this film with no knowledge whatsoever other than the fact it was written by the great Agatha Christie. The movie is based on a theatre show by the name of The Mousetrap. I recognised a few faces but no huge names which is the perfect opportunity to become one. I do enjoy a good ole murder mystery, this film made me remember "Death On The Nile" very similar style of writing yet this one felt unique in its own way.

I never saw a trailer, just a poster and that was enough for me to risk it all and check it out, the acting was out of this world at times, the story was very entertaining so all in all I enjoyed it, I feel like this is a film you must see soon, I loved it.

Highly recommend! 7/10.

Looper (2012)

This Is Amazing
20 August 2022
I remember watching this when it first released, I was still in School and we were assigned to write a movie review of our choice. The story of looper follows a time In a future society, time-travel exists, but it's only available to those with the means to pay for it on the black market. When the mob wants to eliminate someone, it sends the target into the past, where a hit man known as a looper lies in wait to finish the job. Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is one such hired gun, and he does his job well until the day his bosses decide to "close the loop" and send Joe's future self (Bruce Willis) back in time to be killed.

I had a very strong desire to watch this mocie again after seeing it and even years later I've continued to rewatch as it really is a remarkable different type of film that I've never encountered. If I had to be honest, this is definitely one of those movies to highly recommend

Highly recommend this film! You'll love it!

"All God's Must Die"
17 August 2022
Thor Love & Thunder was an entertaining movie as far as Thor movies are expected to be, although I felt this movie focused and relied more on the comedic side of things rather than diving deeper into the characters origin. Gorr The God Butcherer (Christian Bale) was magnificent, truly a standout performance. Chris Hemsworth is great at playing Thor, he invests alot into the role as we've seen over the years and hopefully more to come.

I'll admit I was skeptical at first in the decision of bringing Jane Foster/Lady Thor back into the mix as her character has had no relevant screen time to the story for many years but I was wrong, she was brilliant. I couldn't help but ponder where Loki was, I was expecting a reunion/ a confirmation of Lokis possible survival for Thor but nothing. I know its all a plan and I have faith it will be incredible! I can't wait to see Thor return on the big screen, I'd highly recommend this one, not the best ever but still very entertaining!

What A Watch Must See!
19 July 2022
Stranger Things was an amazing surprise upon watching it I had no idea what kind of adventure was ahead of me. The best way to put this show is a love letter to the '80s classics that captivated a generation. 'Stranger Things' is set in 1983 Indiana, where a young boy vanishes into thin air. As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl.

I loved everything about this show, the cast were absolutely breathtaking, If I started to note on each one I liked we'd be here all day but some really did stand out to me like Joe Kreery as Steve Harrington, by far my favourite from start to nearly finish as we have one more round to go.

I highly recommend watching this, I absolutely loved it! Bring on season to 5!

American Made (2017)

What A Watch!
14 June 2022
American Made was fantastic! I loved every minute of it, the story itself is superb, we start off with the story of Barry Seal (Tom Cruise) an ordinary American pilot who became a drug-runner for the CIA in the 1980s in a clandestine operation that would be exposed as the Iran-Contra Affair. That alone was enough to make me want to watch the film and I'm so glad that I did. This film excels in every area you could ask for in a movie, let's be real has Mr Cruise ever made a bad film? I have yet to discover.

What I like about this entertaining masterpiece is that it's all based on a true story, all of this actually happened and that's what makes it so incredible, a man who worked for the CIA and the Medellín Cartel, Escobar was sure a story that Is a fascinating one.

All in all this was an incredible film that you should not pass the opportunity on, great setting for an epic adventure from the start to finish, the character development is crazy, highly recommend. You won't be disappointed!

"Show Me The Money!"
6 June 2022
Jerry Maguire, I'll be honest, this is a film that is quite unique as it does not remind me of anything I've seen and that is a special thing In Film. Tom Cruise steps into the role of Jerry Maguire, a well respected Sports agent who tries to get back on his feet after being fired from his job. However, the only client he has is Rod Tidwell (Cuba Gooding Jr.) A disgruntled football player who wants a better contract. This is an amazing experience to catch, I'm a massive fan of cruise, in my opinion he has yet to release a bad film, I love it all.

What I enjoyed about this was, not just the plot but how invested Cruise became within his role of Jerry, some very strong scenes of pure emotion, what a class act.

Really enjoyed this I'd highly recommend!
