Sweet Tooth (2021)
Season Two is Horrible
The show was perfect in Season 1. The actor Dania or Ms. Amie Eden is awful. She is terrible in Missing Alert and now she is making extremely dumb decisions in every episode which is making this show hard to watch. If you enjoyed the show as I did...skip season two. Hopefully Amie Eden finds a new show because she is laming up the action. Example why burn up the research and set the lab on fire when your kids are still in the building? It's just taking a turn for the worst. The original cast mad you want to watch episode after episode but this new plot is just not a good and the only major change is that Amie has been become the main co-star and her acting is subpar.
Luther: The Fallen Sun (2023)
Loved it!
I felt the need to write a review after reading the low scores that were marked. It was frightening how good this was. It hit every mark and was action packed from beginning to end. I really don't know what people were expecting. There was a crazy lunatic and Luther was the only person who could understand his thinking and stop him. This is the same storyline from the series. There's a lunatic and then Luther is the hero. So, I'm really not sure what else this movie could have done better. The violence and crimes were even somewhat original with hideous acts that I hadn't seen before in other films. It was great!
Velma (2023)
Weird but I liked it ?!
I thought it was hilarious. It's like the most inappropriate version of Scooby. It's not good but it's not terrible. It's just sorta weird. When you're tired and you need to de-stress then it's hilarious. That's the best way to describe it. It's nothing like the original show. I'm not even sure they're solving a mystery lol laughing but serious! Loads of profanity and sexual situations. It would be funnier if the focused on the terrible cop characters and the mystery. But they are trying to make statements about gender roles and beauty expectations but these messages don't belong here. No one should take this show seriously but it's not terrible.
The Witcher: Blood Origin (2022)
Excellent!
I don't know what could have been better about it. It was not boring at all. Action packed from beginning to end. I found The Witcher had more boring scenes than this mini series. The characters were perfectly developed. It left me wanting to see how it all connects. There were definitely some unanswered questions, but that's to be expected from this collection. The action scenes are top notch. In some episodes you didn't know who to like and who to hate. But it was a perfect mini series that tied up the loose ends that were needed but left the question unanswered for a follow up story. I can't wait for the next installment!
