Black Knight (2001)
Much Laughter
My sides burst this movie is so funny. this is one of my go to comedies that always put me in a good mood. Lawrence is a natural when acting like he's oblivious to the the real world around him. He's energetic, animated and severely comical. This movie came out when the likes of Jim Carrey were around and he's pretty tough to beat and I loved those old movies and this one is right up there.
When the drunken dude offers him food by handing him a stick with a roasted rodent on it, and Lawrence gags and says, "what is that?" and the dude replies, "tis food" and lawrence replies,"tis, roadkill man" still makes my eyes water with laughter. Primo job by the director and acting and writing. Just watched this for the 5th time and it still kills. It doesnt get any funner. pure joy. a 10 for sure.
Who Is America? (2018)
HYSTERICAL!
A true professional Sacha is he can be anyone with a straight face so long that he captures the true essence of whomever he is interviewing. He has loaded questions galore and it takes it comedically over the top. He makes light of peoples absurd beliefs. them. He sells himself well. I want more!
The Irishman (2019)
I expected more.
Meh. It was kinda boring for a Scorsese mob flick.. There needed to be like 8 more action scenes at least. They could've taken out some really boring scenes. Im disappointed bc I didnt think Goodfellas was perfect by far and I was really hoping this movie would make up for the crap 2nd half ...of Goodfellas. (1st half of Goodfellas 10, 2nd half 7) I hated Bracco in it. sorry.
Rambo: Last Blood (2019)
Rambo's Rampage
There is enough blood, gore, violence in this movie to last a long while. "Heart-felt" revenge takes it ...real deep. This movie was viciously awesome.
Mob Town (2019)
not terible
It usually takes a lot of action for me to keep my interest but for some reason I watched it straight through and definitely enjoyed it. It broadened my sense of the earlier days when the mob was not as noticed. seemed like a good time to thrive and I can see why...no technology. This was light-hearted and almost funny.
Danny A. Abeckaser who played Joe Barbara was a natural. His wife played by Jamie-Lynn Sigler (Meadow Soprano) looked great and was great. This was like a PG mob movie. I enjoyed it till the end. Oh and Genovese was really cool to see. I just cant believe how lame the cops were back then. almost comical.
