Brilliant

Brilliant This film is magnificent. The best of the three by far. The use of imagination, set design, cinematography, lighting, all wonderful. This film has much more depth than the other three. Cuaron's direction sends the film into a world that is more believable and slightly sinister. Breathtaking sequence after sequence. These kid actors are growing up, and getting good. Emma Watson has matured and lost that annoying girlish whine. After you leave the theater you may wish that the world of Harry Potter would continue. Think about that as the water automatically turns on in the washroom and you read these words off a glowing screen.

Van Helsing (2004)

C'mon critics It wasn't that bad. Warning! One small Spoiler

Warning: Spoilers
Warning small spoiler! I have seen a lot of bad movies in my time. This doesn't deserve the five it's getting. Who expected this to be another Frankenstein or Dracula? NOBODY! Did anyone here see the other Stephen Sommers movie "The Mummy"? Fun, campy, silly stuff. That's what I expected and thats what I got. Compared with most uninteresting trash thats out there now at least this entertained me. Don't compare this to the original Frankenstein thats a whole other class of film. AND I found it an interesting twist to make the character Van Helsing (Spoiler here)Gabriel, the archangel who has no memory. AND it made my laugh more than once. AND of course it was ridicules. That's it.

Fabuleux... agreed

I found this film to be wonderful. Wept for joy or beauty on more than one occasion and hope you will too. Fully outstanding, expressively told tale of an imaginative young girl who loves life. Brings this joy to others. And eventually discovers another quirky being in the world to share herself with. This film is visually outstanding!

Romeo.Juliet (1990)

General Comment

A Masterpiece of music and visual motion. A one of a kind treat for the heart. Set to Prokofiev's theme Romeo-Juliet uses the gracefulness of cats to poetically "dance" to the accompanying score. The poetry of Shakespeare echoes through the voices of wonderful actors. An entirely different genre of film. Magnificent.
