The Big Lebowski (1998)
Hilarious movie!
This is one of those great movies you run across from time to time that isn't trying to be a 4 star classic, it's just trying to make people laugh...and that it did! This is a great movie to watch at a party or even by yourself. Unique feel good comedy!
The Unearthly (1957)
Don't be fooled by the tagline
The tagline has nothing to do with the movie! There were no mutants on a mission from hell! All they were was harmless freaks manufactured by an evil scientist (John Carradine). The movie wasn't even scary. Just sort of dull and old.
Mitchell (1975)
Mildly entertaining
Yeah, it was bad, stupid, awful, horrible, sacreligious, pod-like, hairy, and satanic, but after all through that you have to admit that you were a LITTLE amused. You couldn't not be. It was humorous in its own small and evil way. A turkey, but at the same time it was a chicken (if you understand what I'm saying).
The Dirty Dozen (1967)
The best movie I've ever seen
This movie not only has a great cast (resulting in great acting)but a plausible plot. It was unique how they mixed the humor in with the story. This is by far my #1 movie of all time. If you can see this movie, see it! You might not like it at first, but I guarantee that you'll love it after a while. The only con is that it's 2 1/2 hours long, but you'll be enjoying the movie, so you won't notice.
Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966)
Horror? Don't be fooled by this well done parody...
At least, I think I'm pretty sure this is a parody of other movies. At least....I hope. I just mention this because there's no way it could be a serious horror movie. The "monster" had big knees for a freakish deformity. And of course in most bad movies, the heroes lost. Except for this movie I was happy.
The Brain That Wouldn't Die (1962)
More like "The Mouth That Wouldn't Die"
It was bad. It was real bad. It stung, Mommy. But what made it worse was that she was really nice before being dismembered. But afterwards, she was a real bitch! Her hubby didn't even try to explain what he was doing for her. She wouldn't shut up either! Somehow she talked without any vocal cords, too. AAARRRGGH!
Gunslinger (1956)
Politically correct load of...well, you know
I'll be blunt. I'm not one for politically correct movies where the woman plays the bad ass who's not going to take any crap from anyone. If any one of the cast members wanted to, they could have just taken her out in a heartbeat. It was entertaining on MST 3K, but don't rent the real version. Trust me. Have I ever lied to you?
I Accuse My Parents (1944)
I didn't mind it
Yeah, okay, so it wasn't a great film. Or even a good film. But it was definitely a so-so/fair film. There wasn't any stupid bloopers like in Cave Dwellers. For its time, it was good. I just didn't think it was THAT bad. There isn't much more to say beyond that.
