Code Name Phoenix (2000)
Not that bad
When i first heard about this movie. I came to this site and read the story. From that point i thought it would be a hong-kong action/martial arts flick à la "Rush Hour". Unfortunatly it was a made for TV, little action film with no famous names except for Jeffrey Meek (to tell the truth, it looked like a pilot for a second "raven" series). There wasn't much action, but when there was, it was handled O.K. The whole cast acted very well and since it was set in the future, it gave away some funny links, like for example: a bus drives by with on the side "Britney Spears comback tour" written on it. If you like series like "raven" or "acapulco heat" then you can picture this as a long episode.
The Crow (1994)
without a doubt, one of the best movies ever made.
I love this movie. The dark mood, the action, the acting of the entire cast, the music scores by Graeme Revell, the music from "the cure" and "nine inch nails". Even if the story was a little bit simple (Eric Draven comes back from the death to avenge his loved one), i still love this film. I found it sad that Lee died during this film because in my book he was going to be the best action star of the decade. I gave this movie a 10 because I found a 6.9 a very weak rating for this perfect film. And I still can't believe that there are 227 people giving this movie a 1.
Killer Party (1986)
One of the worst slashers ever made
This one is an early slasher movie like they make them now. No character development, you don't see the killings (only the after fact cadavers and those aren't even scary), the worst looking/dumbest/most irritating cast ever assembled on pelicule, no scares, no chills and the worst effects make this one the worst slasher film of the 80's. I only saw the last 50 minutes, but i saw enough. These kind of films give horror a bad name.
Vampire (1979)
bad vampire movie
I can't believe that there are 10 people giving this c**p a 10. This is a very boring movie. This movie has the title vampire, so what would you expect: sharp teet, spooky eyes, good effects, gore and lots of blood. This movie has absolutely nothing of these things. If you wanne see this movie and your expecting something like "from dusk till dawn" or "near dark" or "the lost boys" -all fabulous vampire movies- then you'll be wrong and you will be watching a boring drama.
The Video Dead (1987)
worst movie i've ever seen
This is not only the worst zombie-movie, it's just the worst movie ever made. Take the worst "actors" and "actresses" (they just hold the script and read it, not exacelly acting) you've ever seen, no plot what so ever, the cheapest location ever(a house), a stupid script, zombies who laugh and have emotions( i guess the director wanted to make intelligent zombies), take all that and you have the worst movie ever. Do not spend any money renting or buying this movie, you'll be as dissapointed as i am. I know it's hard to find a good zombie-movie, So let me help you, here are some zombie-movies worth watching: "Night of the living dead", "Dawn of the dead", "Day of the dead", "the dead next door", "Lucio Fulci's Zombie 2", "return of the living death 1,2,3". If you rent one of these zombie-movies you won't be dissapointed. I think these movies will give you a bloody and creepy evening.
Fist of the North Star (1995)
Great martial arts movie
This is a great martial arts movie. lots of fights "magnificant martial arts choreography", lots of action, it also stays close to the anime, it had some identical scenes, and cool special effects. If you love the anime and you love great martial arts scenes, then watch this one, you won't be disappointed.
