South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (1999)
Very disappointing.
Apparently this movie is in the Top 250 in the IMDB list. It is listed above films such as Life of Brian, Dead Poets Society, Clerks and Network. Why this is so I can't understand.
As a moderate fan of the TV show, I approached the film with curiosity. How far would the creators go and will it actually be a movie, or one long tv episode?
The creators, Parker and Stone, certainly pushed the boundaries. The language was very strong, and the number of sexual references was very high.
I was not offended by the language or sexual references, but I thought that to endure 80 odd minutes of it was far from necessary to make the film a better one.
The TV series was cheeky and at times quite funny. However, the movie is basically one swear word after another. To be quite frank, it becomes quite boring.
In the end, it does end up becoming one very long TV episode. There are some good moments, and some of the musical pieces are actually very good.
Overall, though, a big disappointment. Recommended only for die hard fans.

The Craic (1999)
Average Outback Comedy Adventure
I'm a big fan of Jimeoin's work, but this film is really nothing special.
The plot is pretty weak, and at the movie's end, you may feel that there was something missing in it.
That said, the acting is pretty good, but comes across as being incomplete.
Good time filler, but don't expect anything special. Hire The Castle instead.
