Titanic (1997)
Titanic: Dream, Megalomania, Love and finally Catastrophe
Titanic - The name stood for a great dream and a much greater catastrophe. But since 1997 it also stands for love, a fairy tale made by James Cameron. This film is absolutely fantastic and will satisfy both kinds of viewers - the one expecting historical information and great action sequences and the other, wishing a great love tale on the ill-fated Titanic. According to Camerons salary of 115.000.000 Dollars, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio really seem underpaid for their great acting.
To put it in a nutshell - view and cry, this film will not be forgotten soon.

The World Is Not Enough (1999)
Better than the others ??
I´ve seen yet all the James Bond movies and I think that the last three films with Pierce Brosnan are not as good as they were predicted.
When you watch the "old" films with Sean Connery and Roger Moore you can find a plog in the most cases. But when I had to watch "GoldenEye" three times to understand what the plog was, this film cannot be called "good". (See other recommendations about "GoldenEye" and "Tomorrow Never Dies")
With the last two movies it was the same case - too much action and too less story. But maybe it is today´s viewer who just wants to see action without understanding what happens, I don´t know.
I hope that the next James Bond-movies won´t be a bad copy of the old ones, but witty-interesting ones.

Quincy M.E. (1976)
exciting up to the end
"Quincy" is like "Columbo" one of the very rare series that are exciting up to the end. Jack Klugman played "Dr Quincy" in such an incredible good way that you might think he was a medical examiner, too. John S. Ragin as well as Garry Wahlberg and Robert Ito made a good job and I´m sad that this series are over now.
Result: For non-medicals a very interesting and never-boring film and for medicals a good possibility to show how TV stultifies the viewers.
Fantômas contre Scotland Yard (1967)
better than the others
I´ve seen this movie about three times and I´m convinced that it is better than the two others.
But a very good film about "Fantomas" is still missing.
Unfortunately there won´t be another one with great Louis De Funès and Jean Marais.
Fantômas (1964)
Embarrassing
According to the other two Fantomas-films, this one was quite embarrassing for me. I´ve expected a much more interesting plot but it was so boring the most time that I fell into sleep soon.
The other two are quite better.
