Los payasos (2004)
Gaby, Fofo and Miliki: good time to see them.
A good time to know the real story of this great group of clowns, I think this TV presentation must be shown in all Latin American countries that this trio of clowns (many times a quartet) used to work (It was only emitted in the province of Córdoba, Argentina). A beautiful selection of old sketches mixed with too many memories about the group. It's interesting to notice that the documentary just show sketches from the Spanish clown's show because there's no have surviving tapes from this Argentinian program. I don't know about others documentaries of Gaby, Fofo and Miliki, so this is the first about them. Is a good movie, but I hope don't be the last one.
Obras maestras del terror (1959)
The best Argentinian horror movie
The three stories are beautifully staged and told, the three starred Narciso Ibañez Menta (the spanish Lon Chaney). This movie have a thrilling background, like many of the Hammer movies from the same years, and perhaps, better. A surprise in the filmography of MIRAME LA PALOMITA director (Enrique Carreras). There been a rumour about this movie has been directed by Ibañez Sr. and Jr. (Narciso 'Chicho' Ibáñez Serrador), but we dont have confirmation about this story.
Face of the Screaming Werewolf (1964)
Weird, strange and illogical!...
This movie presents about eight minutes of scenes with Lon Chaney Jr. and the rest its a long mexican movie pasted with another werewolf movie... and, what about the logic, and the continuity? The best scene of this stuff its at the beginning, the scientist and the mesmerized woman. But, I strongly recommend this movie to all Chaney Jr. fans!
