Watch something else
15 September 2004
The only reason I can recommend this movie is if you want to see women showing off their tits. Sorry. I had to say it. There is nothing else worth watching here. Sloppy editing, bad acting (Lana Clarkson and Katt Shea shows their acting talents (both of them) and crap music. I have to admit that I fell asleep during the middle of this movie as well. I love sword-and-sorcery, adventure and fantasy movies but this is just tiresome. The story is promising enough (as a revenge flick), but the warrior women only manage to get captured every few minutes so that they can be tortured (topless, of course). Watch something else instead. Is it a sequel you say? Do you think that I'm going to watch it?

A strange low-budget (and lousy) Mexican "Plan 9 from Outer Space"
10 September 2004
Probably one of the worst films ever made. If you like to see an old Mexican wrestling star with a blue mask wrestle Mexican wolf men, sleeping walking zombies, zombies that look as they just has gone to sleep in the coffin (no makeup what so ever), zombies who drive cars and helicopters. The funniest of all is the script where aliens from space (we never see them) send down a meteor shaped ship so that the undead can walk the dead and create rampage. Unfortunately the zombies are never frightening and why the aliens decide to attack a little Mexican village with 7 desperate-to-work actors is beyond me! Only for lovers of bad cinema who will love it as long as they fast-forward the first 30 minutes.

Forget that title. This series biggest problem was the title.

This must be the first Trek show to be both complex, emotional and surprising. While the show probably learned a lot by "Babylon 5" , during that show's run (especially during the years when DS9 struggled with identity problems), it managed to grow on its own and surpass both that show and the shows that spawned it. The show had some of the greatest genre actors ever (Jeffrey Combs - love that guy, Michael Dorn - the best "believable" character on TNG, Avery Brooks, Nicole DeBoer, Colm Meaney Armin Shimerman and so on). It also was the first show that managed to have continuity from one show to another and manage to answer the questions it raised, it also tried to deal with character studies in every single episode, something that usually was dealt with perhaps twice in every season on "TNG". It was also the most believable with characters getting married, killed and had life changing revelations. Dark secrets popped also up everywhere. This is Trek, unlike the other Trek, a Trek that felt fresh and original. A great ensemble show that did not focus, like TNG on Voyager, on only three major characters. No wonder "Voyager" is getting bad reviews, after seeing this show, DS9 was a step in the right direction, while "Voyager" was three steps back.

This movie is not bad it is MORE than bad
20 August 1999
This movie is not bad it is MORE than bad. It is really terrible and is one of the worst films I have ever seen. When I saw this movie for 11 months ago it was the first real time I wanted to kill the director MORE than once. The movie shouldn't been titled: Hellgate. It's real name should have been: Welcome viewers, welcome to Hell.
