La casa de papel: La deriva (2019)
And it happens again...
It is a mystery to me why writers always seem to get carried away and take it just a notch to far.
Season 1 and 2 was amazing. I felt season 3 started very strong with a good twist to continue the storyline from the previous seasons and they managed to maintain this for quite a few episodes.
But then, as always, stupid elements are forced in to create even more drama and emotional rollercoaster-type stuff. It really wasn't necessary.
It's still good, but it's definately starting to fall apart.
Examples for those who watched (I'll omit any spoilers):
-The new (known) hostage entering the bank and who "frisks" him (ALONE!)
-Let this new hostage just mingle with all the other hostages despite the past
-Why did the others let <...> keep the phone from the bear?
-<...> didn't manage in time to hide in a <...>, instead of just finding a better one to hide in, hides in the absolute WORST place you could ever imagine.
-etc etc etc.
Captain Underpants: Mega Blissmas (2020)
Not the film
Just to give everyone a head's up: if you liked the film, the TV series are nothing like it.
