Behind the Scenes with 'Thunderball' (1995)
Behind the scenes with the Bond film that defined a decade "Thunderball".
This is a Behind the scenes look at the film that set the pace for James Bond as we know it. Thunderball is truly a Bond classic, before Star Wars, and the common summer blockbusters that have become common in our lives there was Bond....James Bond. This Behind the scenes look at Thunderball gives you a feel that your in the directors chair with Terence Young. It takes you from the filming of big budget action scenes in exotic locales. To ad campaigns and trailers for the release of Thunderball. If you enjoy James Bond 007 films this behind the scenes glimpse on how they are made is truly a treat.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)
Every high school students dream...
Ferris Bueller's day off is one of those films that can be taken off the shelf and watched 20 times yet still retains its original luster. When the character Ferris Bueller talks into the camera you almost feel like your right there with him looking over your shoulder every step of the way, not knowing when or where "ROONEY" will pop up. This film provides an hour and a half of quality entertainment, very few films can captivate the youth of america but Ferris Bueller's day off proves strong 2 generations in a row and still going. If your attending high school I suggest renting this, the tips for faking out parents and always staying a half a step ahead of your teachers should come in handy. I think Ferris says it best "Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop to look around once in awhile you might miss it".
Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998)
* * * *(4-stars)
When HalloweeN hit theaters in the fall of 1978 horror films were not widely known nor excepted, but the originality of the story and the memoribal characters changed all that. Not since HalloweeN has a film had such an impact on a genre until now....HalloweeN H20 burst onto the scene on August 5, 1998 once again sparking an entire new generation's interest in the masked killer who scared the wits out of their parents before them. No (halloween) sequel has had such a strong story we've become so used to kill,after kill, after kill that we've lost interest in basic plot and story elements. HalloweeN H20 puts all that to rest with its intence story and characters easy to relate to provide true "SCARES" not felt since seeing the original alone in a dark room. HalloweeN H20 easily lives up to its predessesor. * * * * (4-star rating)
Back to the Future (1985)
Average boy from the 80s is suddenly thrust back through time in a plutonium Powered DeLorean time machine. After traveling 30 years into the past young Marty must restore his parents past to save his future
Back to the future is probably one of the most ingenious films ever to come out of the 80s. The originality of the script straps you in for the ride of your life, we as an audience are thrust into the life of Marty McFly and we actually believe that we could travel through time in a DeLorean no matter what the circumstances. Back to the future is one of the best films ever produced easily **** four stars
