Chicago (2002)
Do Actors Pay To Get Good Reviews?
Maybe I've seen the broadway version too many times, maybe I went in expecting too much, but either way this movie was waaaaay overrated. And WHO the heck cast Richard Gere!? This man couldn't act his way out of a paper bag! I just don't know HOW it got the reviews it did. I felt the same way about Moulin Rouge. No wait, GEEZ that was even worse!
A Crime of Passion (2003)
Could it get any worse?
I was so excited about seeing this film simply because of Gordon Currie. I hadn't seen him in anything in a while and had been impressed by his performance (and choice of films) in "Waydowntown" and "Blood and Donuts". However, I was so disappointed by this film. Watching this was like watching a bad episode of Falcon Crest. Predictable, shallow, and a plot line that has been done a million times before....to death. However, Gordon, I still have very high hopes for you. A new agent might be in order, however.
Wuthering Heights (1992)
The movie (and the music too)
An awesome version of this film (which really is true to the original story). Juliette and Ralph really do have "it". I was always a fan of the 1939 Olivier version - now I can't watch any version but this one.
BTW, Kim...This CD has that unforgettable theme: Cinemage
