Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)
It's great that Indy continued to play the role with Harrison Ford.
I saw it in the cinema right after it came out and thought it was very good. And now for the second time at home as a stream on Disney and I maintain that it is very good. The story with the dial of Destiny fits in with the previous Indy films and I like this 80s like story with this wonderful ending. This type of fast action scenes and humor are fun and very skillfully filmed. It's great that Indy continued to play the role with Harrison Ford. I also really liked Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Mads Mikkelsen for their roles in this film. Thank you James Mangold and his team for realizing the successful 5th part of Indiana Jones.
Glass Onion (2022)
Sequel?
I really like "Knives Out (2019)". This leads me to be interested in this sequel to watch it. This film is not worth calling a sequel. I can't see any connections to the two films. I think it would be better to consider it as a stand alone film. The appearance of the actors was good and I also liked the showdown, Individual things were quite funny and well placed. The involvement at the beginning of the current pandemic and the solution is a wonderful idea. The reason for my rather low rating is that it has a generally weak story for me. Too little is said about the actual problem or the potential danger that may exist. I think my expectations were probably too high.
Prey (2022)
Good prequel
I like the original 1987 movie and didn't have high expectations for the prequel because I didn't like all the sequels. After seeing it I was excited, the balance of action, horror, effects and references to the 1987 original was beautiful in this prequel. The introduction and the leading lady's over-the-top acting were reasonable and well positioned and added to the entertainment. Very good.
