I think this is a good movie. The characters are fresh enough, the plot avoids Hollywood cliches quite successfully. The movie says that crazy people have the right to love, too, and it shows how they realize this right. It is another answer to the questions: what is love and do love and morality have a lot in common. The weakest point is the ending scene. First, it made me feel that something needs to be added - a cue, a situation, anything - and, second, it resembles "The Graduate" too much. The last scenes of the "10 years ago" part are very good, Nick and Sean!

"She's so lovely" says that crazy people have the right to love and shows how they realize their right. It may also be considered another (and not bad at all) answer to the eternal questions: what is love? does it have anything in common with morality? The last scenes of the first part are very good, Nick and Sean! The only thing I did not like was the ending. Firstly, because it made me feel that something needed to be added: a cue or minor characters' story denouement - just something. Secondly, it resembles "The Graduate" too much.

After long pathetic stories of love saving the Universe Men in Black is very refreshing. Nothing serious (almost), no detailed human psychology research, no final 30-minute fight between the good and the bad guys. It is a good rest before the new Bruce Willis movie.

Sorry for Luc Besson. A story like this, based on a banal moral, could have been saved by humor (like Armageddon, another movie about Bruce Willis saving the world) or good love story (like Nikita or Leon) or references/making fun of something else (I did not see any). Alas. Humor is not Luc's strongest point; here it is like the films made in thirties-sixties - the jokes that won't entertain even a child nowadays. The love story is probably the Besson's worst one. And calling it a wonderful parody is just looking for an excuse for the good people who made it.

To defeat the evil take a good man, give him the total power and free him from anybody's control. The movie shows why this is impossible: even the strongest man can be controlled - as long as he has a heart.

This is a really great comedy. And apart from being funny it shows something really important to me: a person which is always polite.The task to teach all people to love each other proved to be too difficult to be done in 2 millenniums. So, what we should try to do is be always polite, which is somewhere between what we are and what we must be. Bill Pullman's character's professional unbelievable politeness is a very good example.

I liked this movie. I did not feel I was more intelligent than the person it was made for. This is something I can very rarely say about a comedy ("Mr. Destiny" with J.Bellushi, which uses a similar plot, is a contrary example). Good story, unpredictable ending. As far as I can see it did not bring a lot of fame or money to the authors: I'm sorry for the public.
