My god, how dismal. Poor Rich Guy! Ignores his family for years. Wifey complains he's never home. Helps make it up to her by purchasing expensive jewelry! My, didn't he get that by working and ignoring her?

Ignores kids for years. Now they are teenagers. Yet with a couple of dorky little interactions, he's the hero (woo hoo) and now Mom feels left out!

What a load of Hooey! Unbelievable, implausible, and not even well done. Don't waste your evening here - read a book or rent a vid instead.

Can Rob Schneider carry a movie? I've tried to give him credit for being funny. I liked some his schtick on SNL. But MY GOD, he is in some real stinkers - of which this is definitely one.

The plot premise is so worn out you couldn't sell it at a Goodwill store. The writing was - well, my 8 year old daughter could have written a better script.

And I'm sorry, as much as I want to like Rob as an actor, the acting was absolutely LAME. I don't know whether or not he has the talent to carry a movie - but he sure hasn't done it so far.

Save your 3 or 5 dollars and either rent something that really is funny, or save it for your rainy day fund. Don't spend it on this dog of a flick. I couldn't even get through to the end and I will watch just about any piece of c**p through to the end.
