What a butchery of a classic tale!
15 November 2002
When will Hollywood learn to be faithful to timeless classics. The producers of this hap-hazard adaptation of the timeless classic had the audacity to include references to Daniel Defoe in both the title and the film itself - why then did they not stay true to his classic story?

From the very first to the very last, this films strays so far from the novel that i am surprised they can even retain the title.

Stick to the book, or any of the other adaptations of the tale - but stay well clear of this version.

I believe that the only way to enjoy this version is to watch it without ever reading the novel - but even then that's quite a stretch.

The Third Twin (1997 TV Movie)
A thriller pertaining to cloning
25 October 1998
A rather politically motivated thriller detailing a University researcher's discovery of secret cloning experiments at a large genetics company. When her life is endangered by the evil creater of the experiments (played by Hagman), she must seek out each of the genetic clones in order to prove her claims to an unbelieving public.

PCU (1994)
Masterful college humour with a Politically Correct twist.
25 October 1998
Perhaps one of the greatest college comedy films ever created. Bringing in the Nineties Politically Correct atmosphere, PCU delivers a humorous portrayal of college life amongst all the angst of the down-trodden minority groups. Comedic actor Jeremy Piven as 'Droz' leads a great cast including an early appearance by a then-chunky Jon Favreau (star of Swingers) as 'Gutter'. The downtrodden members of 'the Pit' (an unconventional fraternity), must battle against the minority groups at Port Chester University in order to thwart the 'preppies' attempts to take over 'the Pit'.
