Brandon Lee's last movie
15 November 2001
Sex, Lögner och Videovåld is quite a movie. Yes, the plot is mostly about showing gory effects, but the only way you can actually dislike the movie, is if you take it seriously. Personally, I found it hilarious, and the cameos by a huge bunch of (mostly Swedish) celebrities, makes this a must-see. Besides, this is actually Brandon Lee's last movie, so any fan of his, should see this.

Worse than bad
23 February 1999
There are movies that are so bad they actually turn out to be good. They're just hilarious and entertaining. This movie is even worse than that. It's so bad it's not even "good because it's bad". Avoid it at all cost! I have never said this about a movie, since just about all movies appeal to at least someone. Whe it comes to "The Ninja Mission", I can't think of a single person that would enjoy it. And I know some weird people. Hey, I AM one.

The worst of the four
2 December 1998
I love this movie, I really do. I think all the Hellraiser movies are brilliant. One of them, however, has to be the weaker one. And this is it. It doesn't have the suspense of the others and there seem to be an orgy in creating new Cenobites, and (although I like Camerahead) it feels like the rest of them were just 'forced' into the plot. Still, it's a really good horror movie, and if you like the others, you should see this one.

Why do do people complain about this movie?
2 December 1998
I could say this in many ways. One way is to say that the first movie was great and this one was even better. Doug Bradley does a great job, playing the coolest bad guy ever. The absolutely best in the Hellraiser series!

Hellraiser (1987)
Not for the weak minded
2 December 1998
I can quite understand why this movie is not that appreciated by the hardcore of horror movie fans. It's too complex compared to most of the others. Don't get me wrong, I do love splatter-horror movies too, but Hellraiser is not one of them. You cannot watch it just once and say "Well, that certanly was a waste of time". You must take your time to actually consider the deep emotional aspects of the characters. I myself hated it at first, but I gave it another chance. Another unusual twist is that the 'monster' could be reasoned with. How many horror movies has a bad guy like that? This is something I think a regular horror fan would consider a disgrace. Hey, most of the time they don't even speak! So if you hated it: Give it another chance,

Not bad
13 October 1998
"Not bad" pretty much sums it up. I wasn't even alive during WWII, but I think this movie gave me a good idea of what it might have been like. Much better than any other WWII movie. Still, that's pretty much it. It's a very realistic movie, in many ways, but reality doesn't usually have a good plot. And neither did this movie and some of the scenes were way longer than they had to be.

I still think that everyone should see it though, and it must be viewed on the big screen. A TV won't do.

Event Horizon (1997)
A great mix of "Hellraiser" and "Alien"
2 October 1998
I've seen this movie a couple of times now and I must say that I can't agree with the hardcore of "professional reviews" which don't give this movie the credit it deserves. All movies must be compared with other movies in its own genre, not with every other movie available. I think it gives you a great thrill and you can actually feel it as you watch it. Sam Neill is a wonderful actor and he definitely shows it here. So grab a copy of the film, crawl up in a couch in the dark and watch it. It's worth it!
