The Amazing Race (2001)
not fixed but NO respect
the show was NOT fixed look for the radio interview detailing what was not shown in the episode. . . First, Joyce reminds us that this exact same thing happened earlier this season, when a smaller plane "re-opened the doors to let Rob and Amber on." So, it's nothing new. Second, Uchenna says that Rob "told the ticket agent not to tell us about that flight." Then, when Uchenna and Joyce got to the gate, they found "that same ticket agent who had lied to us and said there was no flight. They didn't air the fact that I yelled out, at the top of my lungs, 'You lied to us.' So she was the one that was compelled to call the pilot because, okay, there's cameras everywhere, she's standing there having just lied to me telling me that there was no flight." Joyce adds, "And it looks like, you know, would American Airlines lie to the passengers?" do a google search for "amazing race uchenna joyce interview"
The Last Dragon (1985)
Michael Schultz directs another classic
Director Michael Schultz who along with a phone book size list of television credits and the man behind the cult classic SCAVENGER HUNT brings us the LAST DRAGON...An fond memory of 80's film fun...like most cult movies people who saw this in 1985 still remember the fun it created rather than flaws reviewers may point out...Big hair, eighties clothes, and a then top 40 soundtrack throughout....nothing objectionable ..A young Kung fu master must find his true calling, save the girl, and defeat his sworn enemy...look for familiar faces like William Macy in a small role...this film is very dated but does that really matter...serve yourself a big slice of eighties nostalgia and enjoy the show...and thanks to Michael Schultz who always gives the audience what they want.
Scavenger Hunt (1979)
listen up you scavengers
just look at the demand for this film on auction sites and you'll realize how popular this gem is ..............bad cinema, yes......... ..a great time, most certainly..played for laughs and just plain odd this shows what normal people will do for 200 million dollars.....good clean family fun with a cast of thousands....
