Strange World: Pilot (1999)
ok science fiction
i liked this television show. It was an ok show. i think it was a try to be a x-files. What I liked was there was a woman that was the boss of the operation. It might have lasted on WB or Fox. I think it was too smart for ABC. I am glad that they didn't tell the young girl that she didn't have a baby she had someones heart. That would be weird if they could do that.
Perfect Murder, Perfect Town: JonBenét and the City of Boulder (2000)
too many characters.
It was one of the most complicated mini series I have ever seen on television. They alway say the reason they have less characters in movies is it gets too confusing. After seeing this movie I can see why. There were so many characters I couldn't figure who was who. Patsy Ramsy was great she was a real control freek. I also liked Kris Kriscroffen did a great job too.
Bulletproof (1996)
a good buddy movie
I didn't think I would like the movie. but I found it pretty good. Damon Wayans and Adam Sandler were pretty good buddies. It reminded me of the buddy movies of the 70' and 80'. There were some stupid parts like the gunman hiding in the sunflowers in the desert. Come on. How did those flowres get there. I like the dog. neat pit bull. The ending was good. I would recomend renting it. forget buying it.
Something to Talk About (1995)
a very good movie
i taped this movie last May. I though it was a very good movie. I am glad that I saw it. The family was a real southern family with all the strangness. I liked the parents . I loved how Gena Rowlands locked Robert Duval out of the house. The sisters with really good too. Someone already mentioned that they looked like real sisters. I would give it a 8 1/2.
Straight Talk (1992)
a cute movie
I really enjoyed the movie. I though Dolly Parton did a great job. James Woods was good too. The part I really liked when she was on the talk show with the expert and she made the doc look like a fool. I love the part where she told this women "to get off the cross we need the wood".
Rising Sun (1993)
one of the best movies I have seen
i really liked this movie. I taped the movie and I kept having to go back and rerun parts so that I could figure the parts out. i never do that.
I like Sean Connery was great. I liked the ending. I hope the young couple got together. The think I didn't like was the sentors wife reaction was a joke. It was like that a cut from a horror movie just thrown in as a joke. I loved the car that the victim and the accused drove off in was really cool.
Felicity (1998)
I don't know if I liked it or not
I taped the first show last September. I don't know if I like it or not. The hour seem to drag. I could identify with the character. being insecure and all maybe I could identify too much. I like the star she was really cute. I taped it a couple of other times during the year. I can't wait to see if I like it any better then. I can remember wanting to go to a college and live in a dorm like she does.
Just Cause (1995)
I liked the movie
I just saw the movie on tv. I really enjoyed it. I like a good mystery. and this one had me guessing up to the end. Sean Connery did a good job. I would recomend it to a friend.
Encore! Encore! (1998)
I liked it
I just finished seeing the first show of the series. It wasn't that bad. I know that the show only lasted for a couple of weeks. I really enjoyed the stars. I didn't think that I had taped the show. The mom was great.
L.A. Doctors (1998)
I like it
I just saw the priemer show that I taped last September. it was really good. I haven't had time to see it since. but what I saw of it it was great. I watched it instead of playing with the computer which is a good test.
I like the characters. and all their differences. Hope the series last for awhile. I would recommend it.
Mary Reilly (1996)
Not to bad of a movie
I really liked the movie. Julia was really good. i think at the end of her career she could be a good character actress. She did lose her accent a couple of times. But it was strange to see her without the great smile and she looked the part she wasn't the pretty women she was a poor women.
I like the feeling of the city with all the filth and stuff. i like the story about her father. They were really scary. the only part I didn't like was the ending with the two bodies coming out to see who won. It could have been better. A change of faces would have had more class.
Michael Landon, the Father I Knew (1999)
it was enjoyable
I liked the movies. It wasn't bad.The only think I didn' like was that Michael Landon didn't get any older. He stayed young. I remember he let his hair go gray. The character reminded me of welfare moms that like to have baby after baby because they love having some one that young around. it means you don't have to get old. I kept wondering why didn't he get a woman who liked having babies and then he wouldn't have to pay child support for all those wives. Glad the son got clean and sober and made a life from himself..
Holy Joe (1999)
Interesting TV movie
I liked it. A little hokey but it went pretty fast. Liked the interaction with the kids. John Ritter was ok. I am glad I watched it.
The Other Sister (1999)
loved the movie
I loved the movie, the characters were great. I cried a lot, laughed a lot. The whole audience applauded at the end of the movie. It was fun watching San Francisco in the movie too. All kinds of weird mistakes, like having a Marin bus in San Francisco. And wondering where the churches were. Liked Tom Skarret he is so neat. Diane Keaton was great too. Neat that she let her wrinkles show. The sisters were good too. As I said I loved the movie.
Message in a Bottle (1999)
liked the movie
I liked the movie. Paul Newman was great. He should be nominated for an acadamy award. Cosner and Penn were good too. What I like the most was how shy they were when they were getting to know each other. I always think that I have to have it all together when I meet some one new. I would recommend the movie to friends. I didn't like the end.
The '60s (1999)
Like the mini series
I love the mini series. I loved how they switched from black and white to color. The part I really liked was how they integrated famous people into the storyline like Bob Dylan walking by. I loved the music. It brought back a lot of great memories.
