Important subject matter and strong performances.
gboweeleymah6712 January 2022
I loved seeing Karen Grassle back on the screen. Her performance was especially strong, like the one of Louis Gosset Jr and Tatum O'Neal. Unfortunately Cloris Leachman and Olympia Dukakis didn't have many scenes, like George Chakiris. But it was nice that so many Oscar winners came together for such an important subject matter. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease and a cure must be found ASAP.

Such a great and important story for the family
ryanwritenour26 October 2022
I think most of America, if not the world, look for great family programming L, and thia movie fit the bill.

I'm am older guy, and I had tears several times watching this. I rarely sit thru a whole movie. Usually I don't finish them, or watch them over multiple days, but like a God book you can't put down, I watched this fully without a break.

While some might say it was an obvious outcome, there were 2 main twists I did not expect.

Dealing with dementia and Alzheimers can be both scary and rewarding, and this movie shows just a small part of that experience. You'll feel very sad, and very happy.

I will be looking for more fro thsi writer and director.

When I found it was all filmed less than 10 miles from me, I was shocked I'd never heard about it. I'm so glad I just accidently happens across it. I was binge-watching Little House and looked up Karen Grassle and that's when I found this movie. 2 of the others in this movie, it was their last performance, Olympia Dukakis and Cloris Leachman.

We enjoyed the movie.

This was a simple movie...very relatable. Great cast from years past. The messages and lessons learned made for a happy ending, after so much tragedy. The piano piece played by Melody was heartwarming... I love instrumentals and would love to download load it to my Playlist...why can I find it? Thanks for an enjoyable movie and seeing two of the fabulous and funny actresses in their last roles.

A Heartfelt Movie

I truly enjoyed this movie. Having a disease can be so hard to deal with. But love, patience, and family is so important. This movie was sweet, sad, to the heart, and joyful. The acting may not have been the best but it was still enjoyable. I recommend this movie.

Beautiful and Poignant Film
terryevelynross7 December 2022
NOT TO FORGET is a film you will not forget, with its poignant message and unique perspective on Alzheimer's. It was the Best of Fest winner for San Diego Movie Awards at the beginning of 2022 and won additional awards and was screened at our in-person festival on August 2, 2022, at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park, San Diego, California. SDMA recognizes and honors independent filmmakers and screenwriters from all over the globe, and it is very proud to have awarded this feature film.

With an all star cast featuring the final performances of Cloris Leachman and Olympia Dukakis, this film brings new insight into this devastating disease.

a good one

I suggest everyone who follows American movies and series to watch this movie. It is complete in all respects. The photography, the direction, the idea, the performance of the actors and the characters. I really liked it, so I watched it again. This movie was sweet, sad, to the heart, and joyful Perhaps I was deeply affected by it because my grandfather and grandmother suffered a lot from illness, but despite everything, the film is still amazing and deserves many awards in my opinion.

I do not want to talk more, just watch it and you will reach my feeling and desire to watch it more than once. Enjoyable viewing.

Warning: Spoilers
I don't understand why this is being presented as an Alzheimer's film, while it is really a movie about loss. Chris lost his mother and, over the years, lost himself. This is actually much better than what I expected, though the marketing was somehow misleading.

Heart touching movie
abrarjonas20 March 2023
I liked the movie because of story and acting. This movie gives a message but i'm not gonna told the story with you.

The climax left a bitter taste with how an unhealthy relationship was glorified. That said, the best parts of the movie are essentially the parts where a man holds the her gf like a treasure and is surrounded by his friends who despite everything cheer him up and the bonding scenes were never boring and didn't feel laggy either.

Though he is a labourer, he has no qualms about violently attacking the leaders of the fledgling left-wing trade union movement. Even the tears of his mother does not move him to change his ways.

This is a best movie
inazk9 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Not to Forget never lets the audience think it is going to be anything other than a deeply sentimental story. The plot revolves around a con artist who has to take care of his grandmother who is affected by Alzheimer's. Before long, he realizes he may have stumbled on the ultimate heist. It soon becomes a question of whether family values will overcome greed. This is not a plot that allows for much wiggle room. It is clear there is going to be a lot of metaphoric hand-wringing and melodrama. The good thing is Not to Forget tips its hand early on. Everyone going into this will know exactly what they are getting in to. The flip side is that the film runs the risk of becoming an overly emotional lecture if not done correctly.

It is not possible to forget ''Not to Forget''
press-5490630 June 2023
Besides the electrifying story and approach of Valerio Zanoli, the poetic interpretation of the cinematographer Massimo Zeri concluded as a ''treasure''.

This film deserves 5 out 5 stars for the 5 Academy Award winning actors in its cast. Additionally, it is an unforgettable experience to witness Karen Grassle give life to the character of Grandma and portray what it's like to have Alzheimer's.

This film is an ode to all caregivers, the unsung heroes who take care of their family members out of pure love.

''Heart Warming & Thrilling'' - The Storyline, Picture, The Cast and the Sound Design...''Not Possible to Forget''
