I will never, and I mean never, ever understand how this show ran for 5 seasons. The first season was all over the place, I know everything has it's fan base but how anyone can say this show is amazing (according to fans it is) but it just boggles my wigglies. I'll try to keep this short and sweet, so of course this episode revolves mostly around Axel, I actually like his character but like the rest of the cast, he is given absurd stage direction. He's in another souped up vehicle, with the signature mirror check and rolled cigarette. He gets off roaded by some idiot in a drop top and we go from there. Apparently the guy is a booze smuggler, and has holed himself up in a rather sizable condo where he lets Axel take rest for the night. They talk and talk and proposes Axel work for him as a middle man smuggler, to which he agrees without any questions. Flesh is still on an aimless pilgrimage for redemption and thinks it's a good idea to look for the mother of his children, who as a vampire, he slaughtered in front of her but wants to say sorry. Cause that' will be absolve him of everything obviously. Jack gets bitten and assumes killing herself will stop her from turning (well yeah, death is sort of final) but cause she's "special" she comes back to life and is fine. Then we find out that Max, the booze smuggler is actually the warden of some shoddy mining operation. The big reveal. Flesh finds himself at the same spot where he finds his wife and we'll find out what happens next time on Van Helsing Z.
