Terrible, just terrible.

Where to begin here. This is supposed to be an adaptation of Melville's Moby Dick about obsession & compulsion set in modern times. But the execution & plot are so unbelievable in that the story makes you question the sanity of the film makers. Nothing here is believable. The acting or should I say over acting by the 2 protagonists is painful to watch. And the dialogue...no normal person talks or acts like this in real life. Save yourself the pain & agony of enduring this train wreck of a movie.

Decent minimalist indie

Yeah this film only has 2 people in it, yeah it is made with no money by one guy but what it lacks in cast, budget and crew, it makes up for in beautiful landscapes and intense performances. Knowing the book, it's really interesting to see what they took from it and how they updated it. Minimalist and experimental, it won't be for everyone but I really liked it.
