I enjoyed very much this journey at the Léman lake: so many nice landscapes (Yvoire, the Lavaux vineyards) and so many interesting activities.
There are some interesting aspects of this region: the sailboats (Sébastien Allart- the sailing instructor, the changing winds on the Léman lake), the "Savoie" boat of the Compagnie Générale de Navigation built in 1914 (the 8 steamboats of of he company with their Belle Epoque style), Jean-Claude Betemps and the paragliding near Thonon, Kim Chesney and her instructor starting their flight at the Aeroclub of Annemasse, the Orthodox Church of Geneva (Stéphane Roussel decorating the dome with gold leaves,
the leaves are coming from a factory located in Excenevez), the excursion to the Hôtel Royal at Evian-les-Bains (the important guests-Emmeanuel Macron, Queen Elizabeth II and Ray Charles, Patrice Vander and the vegetable garden), the fishermen of the Léman lake (Serge Carraud fishing perches), the transhumance at Saint-Cergue (the Pradervand family and their cows crossing the village, the nice cow bells and the flower bouquets on the head)
and the "Givrés (a group of men and women who are swimming in summer and winter in the lake at the Bains des Paquis.
I enjoyed the encounters of Sophie with Annick Jeanmairet (the bike tour in Geneva, the jet d'eau, the excursion to the Jura Mountains and the vacherin Mont d'Or), with Louis Richter (the jet d'eau of Geneva), with Jean-Luc Oestraicher and Nicolas Oestraicher (the boat and breakfast), wit Emmanuel Giroud (the grocer of Yvoire), with Anne-Monique d'Yvoire (the castle and the beautiful gardens), with Marianne Golay and Danièle Magnegnat (the vacherin Mont d'Or), with the chef Christophe (the fish burger), with Henri Chollet and Vincent Chollet the wine maker of Chexbres (the grape harvest), with Jan Theiler, the snowbus driver and Gregory G'Stalter in the Diablerets glacier: very nice encounters with kind Swiss and French men and women..
