- Beginning of the journey in Bergen: Sophie meets Titus Kodzoman and they visit Bryggen , the old town (Unesco World heritage site): they go to the preferred bar of Titus and they take the Fløibanen to the Fløyen mountain (one of the seven mountains of Bergen). They travel by car to Undredal, they see the smallest stave church in Northern Europe (built in the 11th century), they meet goats (there are about 500 goats for 100 villagers) and meet the cheesemonger Leif Inge Underdal and taste the typical salted local goat cheese.Later they go on the Naerøyfjord (who belong belong to the Unesco World Heritage site of Western Norway fjords) with their paddle boards.Later Sophie meets in the fish market of Bergen the chef Christopher Haatuft, they look at the fishes and sea food and later they go to an island where Christopher collects juniper, they catch and eat oysters.Back to Bergen they go to the restaurant , prepare grilled cod with juniper and other herbs. Then Sophie travels to Kabelvåg in the Lofoten Islands and meets there Lisa Blom who manages a hotel at the seaside: Kabelvåg has about 2.500 inhabitants: the main activity was fishing, but now the tourism is very important (surfing). They walk through the village, see the dried cods (which are later sent to Pörtugal for the bacalao dish), they see also a soccer field, play soccer with the children and visit a bar (trditional place of the fishermen) which has become a center for surfing and climbing tourists).A morning bath in a Jacuzzi (in open air), the phone booth transformed into a mini-library and then the excursion with Lisa's daughter to see the sea eagles (the greatest bird of the Lofoten).Next stop : Oslo where Sophie meets Ombelline Chardes , a French composer and violinist who lives in Oslo since 7 years: in cafe there is a concert and on the next a walk through Oslo to the Opera House talking about the secrets of happiness in Norway. Finally Sophie meets again Titus and they go by car to Larkollen , a little seaside resort: there Vania (the Norwegian spouse of Titus) and other women invite Sophie to swim with them in the sea (a 4 degrees cold water), a very pleasant moment for all of them. Besides we see zooms about the fjords in Norway (the importance of the ferries), about the secrets of the happiness in Norway (transparency, honesty and respect, also the right to cross the nature), about the wild salmon in Norway and the efforts of conservancy and resettling, about the Vikings (the Viking village of Niardarheim, the Viking school), about the different accommodations near the nature (old family farms, small cabins or weekends on a lighthouse island) and about the end of the secondary studies with a three weeks celebrations (russefeiring).—zutterjp48
