Story time. Imagine 13 years ago, I was 11. You don't know me, but still, just imagine you do. My aunt gets me some stuffed animal for my birthday. Well, at least I thought it was just a stuffed animal; it happens to be a webkinz leopard. I liked it, but had no idea wtf webkinz was or how it worked. My aunt explains the game: you buy these stuffed animals that come with a code; you use the code for this online game called Webkinz where you take care of your webkinz character by building it a house, making money by playing games and doing raffles, and using this money to buy decorations and "swag" for you webkinz (basically The Sims, but with cute animals). I was IN LOVE. Soon, I was hooked, and my aunt got my brother hooked by getting him a pug, and we both started playing individually, seeing who was the best owner. Idk how much effort I put into this game; probably more hours than I did with RuneScape to tell you the truth. By time I eventually got bored with this game, I had about 8 different Webkinz characters with a sweet ass house, each room decked out to a special theme or vibe. So what was the final straw for me giving up on this game Ive spent countless hours on may you ask? I seriously couldn't tell you why I stopped playing. Maybe it was cause I started growing up and different games took ahold of my interest (RuneScape) or it could of been because deep down, my crib was decked out enough and there just wasn't much else to do. Or maybe it was cause in order to keep playing online you had to buy a new webkinz every 8 months or something like that. I couldn't tell you exactly. All I know is I haven't played it in years, and I don't plan on it. I'm glad for all the good times this game gave me and I'm glad it exists. Miss you Leo and the rest of the gang, but y'all gotta find your own way of income now. Daddy got bored playing Cash Cow.
