...and that's what makes this show such a guilty pleasure. He has the perfect voice to narrate the wonderfully creepy nocturnal predation. It's almost impossible to watch an episode and not find yourself imitating it. It does bear mentioning, however, that NatGeo does owe its audience literacy; "drownding worm, beauty regiment," really?
The photography is as good as it gets in a nature series, and while it doesn't really reveal the type of surprises you get in, e.g, the Planet Earth series, it gives you what you came for.
I wanted to enjoy it.

I'm gonna be honest, i don't criticize TV shows. I only criticize movies (a film critic).
But i have to talk about this surprising nature series.
The camera HD quality
The lighting
The color palette
The direction
The narration
The source material
The music score
The editing
The photography/cinematography
ALL Top-Notch!
But the minor issue that i had is that the script writing said in one scene in one episode that "Humans are the most dangerous animals/predators. Even though humans are living things (living breathing organisms) Humans are not animals! Fact! Period! BUT, overall this is a must-see, don't miss show! 4.5 out of 5

To everybody complaining about the narrator, please check the background.
The entire point of the narrator sounding eerie / creepy is exactly the point.
The idea is from The Walking Dead Creator and all the episodes are named after known horror movies. Have a sense of houmour and don't act so hurt about everything in life.

Great concept for a show, and I like how NatGeo Wild decided to branch out and try something new. If you already enjoy NatGeo content and shows, then you will enjoy this as well. The narrators voice takes you by surprise at first, but once you quickly get used to it you see that it fits the overall mood and vibe of the show. It's a horror nature series after all

I would give this show a top rating if not for the narration! His attempt to make his narration sound spooky actually takes away from the show, I wish there was a way to select someone else to narrate, just read the script and stop with the unnecessary voice trying to add a scary twist to it, come on people he sucks!

I love educational nature shows and think the concept is great. However, sometimes when you all out go for it in acting/narration it either works or falls flat. Judging by most of the reviews here, it fell flat. Great effort, just re-record the narration and save the show.
