"SpongeBob is cool now!"

Mind the Gap: This episode has a very classic SpongeBob charm to it. SpongeBob's voice changing into this smoothing talking guy is a funny juxtaposition to what we would expect and Tom Kenny's voice work is incredible in this episode.

Dirty Bubble Returns: I really like that the writers are trying to expand some more secondary characters story. First was Manray then Bubble Bass, who didn't really have much to them other than a gag. But now in Seasons 11 and 12, they have a bit more to their characters now, and the Dirty Bubble is no exception. The idea that the Dirty Bubble trying to be 'clean' is a good premise and a funny metaphor for something else. And I would really like to see more secondary characters explored in future episodes.

Both Amazing Episodes

Both of these episodes were absolutely fantastic. Mind the Gap is really a well... Cool episode, and the songs are too catchy. Dirty Bubble Returns is one of the most epic comebacks of a characters in any tv series EVER. And that's really saying something!

One decent, one meh

Mind the Gap started off with the crazy exaggerated facial expressions that scream, "This is for kids!" It turned me off pretty quickly. It got a little better. None of the jokes are really memorable, though the jazz club is a fun spot, and Spongebob talking all cool was a pleasure to listen to. 6/10 Dirty Bubble Returns has more funny jokes, for sure. It's around a 7/10 to me. The current 8.3 rating is wayyyy too generous to this pairing.
