Tendi says, "My cousin works in a thieves' den in a pirate outpost in this sector. She might be able to help us out." Tendi's cousin is later shown to be male.
The image of Tom Paris on Boimler's Voyager collector's plate shows him with two full gold pips, indicating a rank of lieutenant. During his service aboard Voyager, Tom Paris only held the rank of lieutenant junior grade (one gold pip and one gold-rimmed black pip) and, briefly, ensign (a single gold pip).
Given Orions' stated distrust of humans, it is not explained how Tendi and Mariner were able to land on an Orion outpost in a Starfleet shuttle without detection.
Mariner claims to not know that "D'vana" is Tendi's first name. But when she wrote the holodeck movie "Crisis Point: The Rise of Vindicta", the credits included Tendi's full name.
If Boimler does not have authorization to open doorways or use the turbolift there is no reason he should be able to access the Jefferies tubes.
After Lt. JG Cody asks Shaxs about his resurrection, Lt. Cmdr Billups tells him to report to his supervisor for discipline. Billups is Cody's supervisor.
Mariner's plan to make the destruction of Commander T'Ana's heirloom post look like an accident is to ram the shuttle into the ship and blame the damage on the collision. Half the post was left back at the Orion pirate outpost. If T'Ana had actually been interested in the post itself, she would have quickly discovered that there were not enough damaged remnants of it present in the shuttle (fortuitously, T'Ana was only interested in the box containing the post and not the post itself).
