Hayley Williams has announced a new album, Flowers for Vases / Descansos, out Friday. The LP follows her three-part 2020 album Petals for Armor and, like its predecessor, was produced by Daniel James and engineered by Carlos de la Garza.
“This isn’t really a follow-up to Petals For Armor. If anything, it’s a prequel or some sort of detour between parts one and two of Petals,” Williams posted to her Instagram story on Thursday. “I had written a long and poetic press release but man, after 16 years of being in the music business,...

Hayley Williams is out with “Cinnamon,” “Sudden Desire” and “Creepin'” off her surprise Petals for Armor 1 Ep. The Paramore frontwoman also released the third Warren Fu-directed video for “Cinnamon.”
Not to be confused with Neil Young and Crazy Horse’s “Cinnamon Girl” (or Lana Del Rey’s, for that matter), “Cinnamon” opens with Williams waking up in her house and walking down the stairs to find a record playing and a piece of her hair on the ground. She then encounters bizarre intruders in her home that follow her around.

In a new interview with Zane Lowe, Paramore’s Hayley Williams discussed her upcoming solo debut, depression and her adoration for Billie Eilish.
Williams teared up while discussing having suicidal thoughts during the making of Paramore’s 2017 album After Laughter. “My dog is the reason I’m alive, because he would’ve been waiting on me to get home, no matter what,” she admitted. “You know how little sweet little puppies sit and they wait? I couldn’t think about it…whoa, I’ve never cried in an interview before.
