I watched "Merry Christmas" ("Gledelig jul" in Norwegian) last year with my parents. At the time we were at my parents home. We have celebrated many holidays there with friends and family. All of us liked this movie and yes, the cast and crew can be proud over this movie. I didn´t regret watching it.
Some scenes offered topics of conversation that were awkward, strange or uncomfortable. And no, I didn´t understand every decision that the characters took. But I do understand very much of the Norwegian language.
It would be funny to watch this family celebrate Easter. That would, very likely, be a good sequel. I can almost picture it in my head.
