A progressive, amazing short film
kaytmich14 September 2018
Invisible Struggle is a unique short film that documents a day in the life of a successful actor as he battles with the demons only he can see. This simple yet profound commentary on the lives of people who are living with mental illness initiates a conversation that needs to be had about reducing stigma surrounding invisible diseases and validating the experiences and emotions of people who are suffering from depression. Invisible Struggle is painfully real and incredibly hopeful, and is an amazing tool to help others understand what the invisible struggle of mental illness truly is.

Absolutely a beautifully done depiction of daily life with depression

Warning: Spoilers
This film is the first one I've seen of many that has shown how a person lives with depression on a daily basis and did so beautifully. I myself suffer from depression along with other mental health issues and I honestly felt this was the first time watching something that someone finally understood how I feel daily. I can not say it enough that having just this one amazing representation of how we live out here is amazing, but if so many others can see this and understand what it means to us maybe we can eventually see more things like this.
