The class assignment is to "recreate the world of Shakespearean theater." Back in those days, all parts were played by males, yet Kyra, a female, plays Juliet.
When Kyra, Lily, and Imogen go to fix Peter's memory, Imogen is shown without her elf ears. Her pointy ears regularly disappear when she is in the "human" world; there's even a shot of her with round ears in the opening credits.
Romeo and Juliet come from different families, with their differences from each other usually carried out in their attire; yet, when Lily/Juliet appears before Peter/Romeo in an outfit almost identical in style and colors to his, Peter/Romeo readily accepts her as his Juliet rather than as a family member.
At 07:42 -Humans cannot see "magic users" yet Peter can see both Lily and Imogen.
Peter's recitation of Romeo's lines (as he becomes Romeo) is only mediocre, yet everyone behaves as if the portrayal is wonderfully authentic.
