The book from Fred Vargas is very strong even if there are some very easy tricks in the story. The usual police characters are funny.
But unfortunately the acting is very bad and directing is awful. It seems all first scenes are kept even when people don't say their sentences correctly.
Special effects are terribly bad (flashbacks and the brothers scenes with no cgi)
Watch it only if you like the book
