A cultural phenomenon!

This one is hard to assess. It was so inescapable at the time. It literally took over every dance party or any event where an excuse could be made to play it. It was like a loveable cancer. When you look into the actual lyrics it becomes hard to comprehend that children were encouraged to dance to this.

In terms of the actual music video, it's pretty basic but I have to admit it's fun and enjoyment does radiate from the girls.

end of century

At its time, I saw it as a new Lambada. Sure, different in many details , from middle age men to the lyrics. But, being a source of fun, it can be defined as a sort of testimony about dance music of an end of century.
