Detailed Guide to ‘A Christmas Prince’ Film Series ( Photo Credit – IMDb )
Films and TV shows do not always have to be profound, with a deeper meaning behind them. They don’t always have to have a conventional format, and they definitely do not always have to be life-changing experiences. And while many films out there aim for substance and depth, sometimes they can get a bit daunting and stressful. Which is why cheesy, guilty pleasure films exist. These are movies that just go for the cheese and clichés, no grand conclusions, no complexities whatsoever. They’re often so bad that it makes them good.
One such film series is the “A Christmas Prince” trilogy. It’s a Christmas romance that was first released in 2017, but apparently, one movie wasn’t enough, so they decided to turn it into a trilogy.

Christmas is a stressful time of year for many people.
There are gifts to buy, family to see, and cars to dig out of the snow. Thankfully, the holiday cheer makes up for a lot of it. And when holiday cheer can’t get you all the way there, there are Christmas movies to make up the rest.
Netflix has the deepest roster of Christmas movies of all the major streaming options. So we’ve compiled a list of the best Christmas movies available on Netflix.
Be sure to point out any we’ve missed!
Black Mirror: White Christmas
Those looking for Christmas cheer won’t find it here. Black Mirror isn’t necessarily known for its happy endings and it’s 2014 Christmas special, “White Christmas” is no different.
Still, there is an audience out there that definitely wants this level of Scroogery. Plus it stars Jon Hamm! “White Christmas” follows three seemingly disparate stories.

“Killing Eve” is the latest show to see its new season’s premiere date moved around amid production shutdowns and delays for other series due to the coronavirus pandemic. The third season of the Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh-led drama will now premiere two weeks earlier than previously scheduled, AMC Networks announced Friday.
“Killing Eve” Season 3, which was set to launch Sunday, April 26, will now debut Sunday, April 12 at 9/8c on BBC America and AMC. As had been previously announced, all eight episodes of the new season will be simulcast on both cable channels.
For AMC, “Killing Eve” will be filling the hole “The Walking Dead” has left in the network’s schedule, following the announcement that post-production could not be completed on the zombie apocalypse show’s Season 10 finale, so it will now air later this year as a special.

Killing Eve, which has already been renewed for a fourth season, continues to grow in ratings. Season two had the highest rate of growth of any returning TV drama since the final season of AMC’s Breaking Bad in 2013, doubling its season one audience in Live+Sd, according to Nielsen stats.
The third season continues the story of two women with brutal pasts, addicted to each other but now trying desperately to live their lives without their drug of choice. For Villanelle (Comer), the assassin without a job, Eve (Oh) is dead. For Eve, the ex-MI6 operative hiding in plain sight,...

Here is a wrap-up of all the news you need to know from Friday, February 14, 2020.
BBC America's Killing Eve is getting a later than usual start.
Killing Eve Season 3 is slated to debut Sunday, April 26, at 8/7c.
It will be simulcast on AMC.
If you watch Killing Eve online, you know Killing Eve Season 2 wrapped with Eve bleeding out after Villanelle opened fire on her.
Eve's fate was left up in the air, but the dynamic between Eve and Villanelle is vital to the show's success, meaning that there is a slim chance either of them dies before the series finale.
"Eve (Sandra Oh) has survived being shot by Villanelle (Jodie Comer) in Rome, but her current status with MI6 remains unknown after being manipulated by Carolyn (Fiona Shaw) in the events of last season’s finale," reads the official logline from BBC America.
"And it’s clear that...

BBC America's Killing Eve returns for Season 3 in April with a new showrunner steering the spy drama.
BBC America's critical and fan darling Killing Eve is returning for a third season! Of course, there wasn’t even time for doubt, since the Killing Eve Season 3 announcement was made in April at the AMC Networks Summit (BBC America is co-owned by AMC and BBC Studios), only one day after the second season premiere. Interestingly enough, the network continued its preemptive renewal strategy in January 2020, giving an early order for Season 4!
Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer, and Fiona Shaw star in the series that follows MI6 operative Eve (Oh) as she tracks psychopathic assassin Villanelle (Comer)—or is it the other way around? It is based on Luke Jennings' Codename Villanelle book series.

It’s a Wonderful Life they aren’t, but four new festive Netflix movies could be just the harmless mood-setting you need
Christmas classics are hard to make. In film, as in pop music, for every festive entertainment that manages to become firmly entrenched in the public imagination, dozens of others are put out with the wilted fir trees and broken baubles once the cheer subsides. They may be revived at the hands of desperate TV schedulers, but in the 15 years since Richard Curtis’s Love Actually announced itself as a love-it-or-hate-it mainstay of the season, not much has managed the same status.
Netflix, however, appears to have designs on saving the modern Christmas movie – heavily promoting at least four chirpy new Yuletide-themed originals designed to be watched with equal glee by uncynical kids and irony-inclined revellers in search of drinking-game fodder. If The Christmas Chronicles, The Princess Switch, A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding...

It’s an established M.O. for Netflix: Identify genres and formats that “belong” to other networks, and begin slow and steady encroachment. “The Final Table” is a clear answer to Bravo’s “Top Chef,” while docu-series “Dogs” would have gone to Animal Planet in a different life.
And now that it’s the holiday season, those treacly Hallmark Channel Christmas rom-coms are clearly in its sights. Four Christmas-themed, Netflix Original love stories will be released between Halloween and New Year’s, and the crown jewel may be “A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding” — a sequel borne of the breakout popularity of last year’s “A Christmas Prince.” While it’s possible that this informal infringement may have Hallmark execs shaken like a snow globe, they also may be content knowing that the Christmas Movie Industrial Complex is harder than it looks.

I hope you've booked your ticket to Aldovia, because we all have a royal wedding to attend! That's right - everybody's favorite so-bad-it's-good holiday romance is returning with a sequel, aptly titled A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding, and now we have our first look at what Amber and Richard have been up to, courtesy of the new trailer.
While we probably shouldn't expect the sequel to live up to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle-worthy nuptials - after all, this is a continuation of a movie that shows a grand coronation that's decorated with a budget of approximately $10 - it still looks like a good time. The film follows Amber and Richard a year after she helped secure him the crown, with the two set to tie the knot in a royal wedding held on Christmas.

"It's like Bridezilla in reverse!" Netflix has debuted their official trailer for the cheesy romantic comedy A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding, a sequel to the film released last year A Christmas Prince. In the first one, a journalist falls in love with the prince and ends up with plans to soon marry him. In this one, with the royal wedding ceremony approaching on Christmas night, she starts to feel unsure and isn't entirely ready to make the leap. All the while, the prince ends up in a political crisis of his own. The Royal Wedding once again stars Rose McIver and Ben Lamb from the first, with a cast including Alice Krige, Richard Ashton, Tahirah Sharif, Joel McVeagh, and Clara Ciobanu. This lead actress reminds me too much of Keri Russell, but no. This looks very sweet and campy, but maybe there's a few good lessons in the film.

This holiday season, Netflix has more movies and TV than you can shake a candy cane at. The streaming service is flooding the market with a raft of original movies and specials rolling out over the next six weeks. And that's in addition to the stuff that's already there. There's something for everyone, from the cheeriest Christmas Prince to the grinchiest grinch.
According to Netflix's viewer data, holiday streaming season starts Nov. 12, and so it makes sense that the streaming giant has already released its first Christmas movie of the year, the Kat Graham-starring The Holiday Calendar. Coming up, there's The Princess Switch, which stars Vanessa Hudgens in dual roles as a baker from Chicago and a princess who look like twins and do the ol' Christmastime switcheroo (Nov. 16); The Christmas Chronicles, which stars Kurt Russell as Santa Claus (Nov. 22); and A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding, the sequel to last year's holiday hit (Nov. 30). ...

Are you ready for more Amber and Richard? I sure hope so, because Netflix's sequel to A Christmas Prince, officially titled A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding, will be streaming for your viewing - and cringing - pleasure before you know it.
As you might recall, the unintentionally hilarious holiday romance, set in a fictitious European nation called Aldovia, became a holiday sensation almost immediately after its release last year. And, as you probably also recall, you can't hide guilty pleasures from Netflix. Despite its title, you shouldn't expect the sequel to live up to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle-worthy nuptials - after all, this is a continuation of a movie that shows a grand coronation that's decorated with all the splendor of the sad New Year's Eve "party" I threw in junior high . . . for four friends . . . in my basement.
That being said, I truly can't wait for more!

Christmas is more than a month away, but Netflix is already adding a host of holiday flicks to its November lineup of original movies.
Starting Nov. 2, the streaming platform is adding almost ten original films to its fall slate, including “The Holiday Calendar,” a movie about a magic calendar that can predict the future, as well as the much anticipated follow-up to last year’s holiday hit “A Christmas Prince.” The sequel, “A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding” will pick up a year after Amber (Rose McIver) helped Richard (Ben Lamb) secure the crown, but this time Amber finds herself second-guessing her upcoming royal marriage.
Other original movies coming to the streaming service include the historical action film “Outlaw King” about Robert the Bruce, and Vanessa Hudgens’ new movie “The Princess Switch.” Fans of more serious films should also watch out for Alfonso Cuarón’s new movie “Roma,” which is...
