Drake has returned with his eighth studio album, For All the Dogs. Stream the album via Apple Music or Spotify below.
Spanning 23 tracks, the album features appearances by Sza, Bad Bunny, J. Cole, 21 Savage, and more. It arrives a day after its latest single, “8Am in Charolette,” which dropped on Thursday, October 5th, and includes Drizzy taking thinly veiled shots at his longtime sparring partner, Kanye West.
Drake has been teasing For All the Dogs for some time now. In June, when he was putting out his poetry book, Titles Ruin Everything, he ran ads in newspapers like the New York Times, NY Post, Los Angeles Times, and others, which included a Qr code leading to titlesruineverything.com. Going to the website revealed the album’s title and the following message: “I made an album to go with the book. They say they miss the old Drake, girl don’t tempt me.

The song most important to Craig Gillespie’s storytelling in “Dumb Money” is Cardi B’s 2020 hit, “Wap.”
Set in 2021, the film follows a group of common-man stock traders who take on the titans of Wall Street. Music supervisor Susan Jacobs says, “We had a very particular time period where it was really important to the writers because that was the moment of GameStop.”
Paul Dano plays Keith Gill a.k.a Roaring Kitty, the family man who follows stock for a hobby and gains a huge following. Seth Rogen is hedge fund manager Gabe Plotkin, who hears about the inexplicable sudden rise in GameStop shares and aims to get to the bottom of it. Jacobs knew she wanted at least three recognizable songs. She says, “I wanted something that would set us back in Covid and that time.” Her challenge was how to design a soundtrack with a limited budget.

Steven Spielberg worked his way up to directing features by making short films and episodes of TV shows like Columbo and Night Gallery. His earliest movies were also made for television – and the first feature-length TV movie he made that wasn’t part of a series was the classic 1971 thriller Duel (watch it Here). Forty-two years after Duel first aired, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is now set to give the film a 4K release on November 14th!
Based on a short story by Richard Matheson, who also wrote the screenplay, Duel centers on a motorist terrorized by an evil truck. Dennis Weaver stars as the traveling salesman waging a desperate battle for survival after he is mysteriously singled out.
Jacqueline Scott, Eddie Firestone, Lou Frizzell, and Gene Dynarski are also in the cast.

Rapper Tory Lanez could get a long prison term at his expected sentencing Monday after felony convictions for shooting and wounding hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion in the feet.
Los Angeles prosecutors are asking a judge to hand down a 13-year sentence to the 31-year-old Lanez, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson.
They wrote in a sentencing memorandum that along with the crimes for which he was convicted, Lanez has re-traumatized Megan with social media posts about the case that emboldened many among his more than 2 million followers to attack her.
Megan may appear in court Monday to give a victim impact statement, or may have one read for her in her absence.
Lawyers for Lanez said in their own sentencing memo that he should get only probation and be released from jail to enter a residential substance abuse program.

On the one-year anniversary of Renaissance, Beyoncé brought the album’s lyrics to life — especially “category: bad bitch, I’m thе bar” — with a stunning performance proving why she’s one of one, number one and the only one. Don’t even waste your time trying to compete with her.

The 1990s were an exciting period for action films, with many of them getting released direct-to-video and showing up seemingly randomly at local video stores, requiring fans of the genre to have memberships at multiple locations to get to see everything. There was so much that if attention wasn’t paid, titles would be missed easily or rented twice under different titles at different video stores. Stars emerged within those ranks and gathered the love and adoration of fans. Here are the 10 of the best Dtv action stars of that era:
Dolph Lundgren
Let’s start with the obvious man on the list, the one that everyone saw films from at their local video stores. Lundgren had films that were released in theaters, on video, and direct to cable in some cases during the 1990s, but one thing is for sure, he was a mainstay of the action film aisle...

Even though he’s been in jail for over a year, nothing is going to stop Young Thug from doing his business — on Friday (June 23rd), the 31-year-old rapper released Business is Business, his third full-length album. Stream it below.
News of the album first arrived via a mysterious Qr code posted to Young Thug’s Instagram last week, which brought fans to a website featuring the artwork for the album (a photo of him in a courtroom alongside several other defendants). On Thursday evening, the record’s executive producer, Metro Boomin, tweeted a version of the artwork along with the caption “I got you for life and after that brodie,” presumably sending a message of hope to Young Thug.

On Tuesday, Billboard published a piece speculating on why hip-hop hasn’t had a Number One album or single within the first half of 2023. The report set off a flurry of chatter from industry observers and rap fans drawing their own conclusions as to what the answer might be. Is the dearth of rap hits this year a matter of market share, artist deaths, incarceration, or stagnant charts?
Most people who think the occurrence is no big deal are chalking it up to a lack of releases by major rap stars.

Stars: Chris Messina, Sophie Thatcher, David Dastmalchian, Vivien Lyra Blair, LisaGay Hamilton, Madison Hu, Maddie Nichols, Marin Ireland | Written by Scott Beck, Bryan Woods, Mark Heyman | Directed by Rob Savage
Host director Rob Savage makes his mainstream Hollywood debut The Boogeyman, a loose adaptation of a Stephen King short story from the co-writers of A Quiet Place. As such, it delivers some effective scares and is elevated by a trio of terrific performances, though the story itself ultimately feels a little derivative.
Yellowjackets star Sophie Thatcher plays Sadie Harper, a teenager whose family – younger sister Sawyer (Vivien Lyra Blair) and therapist father Will (Chris Messina) – are still grieving the tragic loss of her mother in a recent car accident. Their lives are swiftly upended when a strange man (David Dastmalchian) seemingly commits suicide in their house, after relating a dark tale to Will about a shadow monster that killed his children.

Beyoncé has made her long-awaited return to the stage — on Wednesday night, in Stockholm, Sweden, the legendary pop icon delivered the inaugural performance of the “Renaissance World Tour,” her first solo run of shows since 2016.
Opening for herself, Queen Bey kicked off the marathon, three-hour show by performing a series of ballads, including “Dangerously in Love,” “Flaws and All,” “1+1,” and “I Care.” After a brief intermission, Beyoncé launched into the Renaissance portion of her set, as she showcased her latest album with performances of “I’m That Girl,” “Cozy,” “Alien Superstar,” Cuff It,” “Energy,” and “Break My Soul.”
Video interludes broke the set into themed sections dubbed “Renaissance,” “Motherboard,” “Opulence,” Anointed,” and “Mind Control.” After debuting songs from her latest record, Beyoncé used “Opulence” to dig into her back catalog with “Formation,” “Run the World (Girls), “Black Parade,” and “Partition,” as well as her remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage.

Beyoncé has officially kicked off her "Renaissance" World Tour. The megastar launched the highly anticipated event on May 10 in Stockholm, Sweden, kicking off a three-hour set without an opening act. She's set to travel through Europe through June before coming to North America over the summer, completing over 40 dates by the time the tour is through.
The tour is Beyoncé's first since 2018's "On the Run" tour with Jay-Z. Her last solo tour was in support of 2016's "Lemonade," so needless to say, the "Renaissance" tour is a major event - and Forbes has predicted that it could gross up to $2.6 billion by the time it's complete, making it one of the most profitable tours ever. It also marks Beyoncé's first live performance since 2018 other than a one-off appearance in Dubai in January, where she appeared alongside her oldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
Ahead, check out the full set list...

A Los Angeles judge on Tuesday denied a motion for a new trial from lawyers for rapper Tory Lanez, who was convicted of three felonies in December for shooting hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion in the feet and wounding her.
Superior Court Judge Herriford rejected arguments from lawyers for Lanez that evidence was wrongly admitted at the trial he presided over. He said that the exclusion of the disputed evidence would not have made a difference at the trial.
Lanez, 30, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, will now be sentenced for convictions of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. He could get up to 22 years in prison and faces deportation to his native Canada.
As he was led from the courtroom back to jail after a hearing on the motion a day earlier, he pleaded with Herriford to help him,...

Warning: minor spoilers ahead for "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" episode 3. Proceed with caution.
Through three episodes, "She Hulk: Attorney at Law" has been quite unlike any show we've seen in the Marvel CInematic Universe to date. It is very much a legal comedy, arguably way more so than it is a superhero show. But it also has an entirely different point-of-view and tone than any Marvel's other Disney+ shows to date. And that unique tone paved the way for an amusing cameo from none other than Megan Thee Stallion.
The rapper appeared briefly in the third episode, as well as in the post-credits scene that followed. But when the episode was written, it wasn't written specifically for Megan. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, head writer Jessica Gao explained that it was all about shooting high and seeing who they could get:

Beyoncé has hit the pinnacle of the music charts with her single “Break My Soul.” The singer topped the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist for the first time in 14 years. Beyoncé’s lead single from “Renaissance” first hit the charts six weeks ago and it rose to its peak the same week the album made its debut as No. 1 on the Billboard 200 list.
It was in 2008 when Beyoncé reigned the Hot 100 by herself with “Single Ladies,” lasting four weeks on top. However, the Grammy award-winning star had been at the helm of the charts with collaborations since then.
Beyoncé took the top position with Ed Sheeran in 2017 with “Perfect” and in 2020 with Meghan Thee Stallion as they collaborated with the “Savage” remix.
To make room for “Break My Soul” on the Hot 100, Beyoncé knocked down Lizzo’s “About Damn Time” to the second spot after being there for two weeks.

As of this writing, The Weeknd leads the way with 7/1 odds for his chart-topping hit “Blinding Lights.” He was nominated in that category once before, for “Can’t Feel My Face” in 2016, but he lost to “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars. He also happens to lead the way in our current odds for Song of the Year (also for “Blinding Lights”) and also Album of the Year (“After Hours”).
